This big NW IPA might just put a spell on you! With a burnt, golden-orange color, 6 malts and 4 hops varieties, this beer is enchanting. The up-front hammering of NW hops swirls around with the sweet malt body of one mouthful at a time, producing a light and crisp finish with just a hint of dryness that leaves you wanting more.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours clear dark copper with a 3 finger frothy beige head. Firm aroma of pine. Med body. Very hoppy. Lots of pine with a little citrus and arguably floral. Even a bit earthy. There’s a pretty strong roast malt backbone, but the hops rule. This is really bitter and flavorful. Highly recommended.

Pours a dark amber with a little white head and a little lacing. Smell is faint and a little caramel. Taste is watery, malt, a little citrus, caramel, and some hops. Ends dull.

Can to glass, pours a dark golden orange color with a minute white cap... Decent amount of sheet lacing. The nose is subtle, grapefruit and florals. Taste is floral and grassy hops, lightly sweet malt. Not a lot of bitterness. OK.

BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Tap at Tugboat. Agree with Douglas, this is more of a sweet amber. Murky amber. Rocky white head. Malty and just a touch watery. Kind of weak sauce.

IndianaRed (4546) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 15, 2015
On Tap clear rather dark rusty brown. Thick sopay sandy head. Quite malty and smooth. Soft woody flavors and very muted soft hoppiness. Very littel biter bite at the end. Session-able I’d say if it were a full point lower. Unimpressive otherwise.

A thicker sweeter darker IPA. Not bad but not really hitting the spot either. Needs more aromatics.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear ruby color with a large white head. A medium sweet citrus nose. The flavor is sweet caramel, toffee, sweet citrus. An odd ipa. More of a sweet amber.

Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - SEP 21, 2015
Pours a finger of head on a hazy dark straw body. The aroma is grain and lemon. The taste is strong bitterness and malty. The texture is thicker. It’s enjoyable.

3.4
ACHops (1566) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 18, 2015
22 oz bomber from Three Creeks, served in a pint glass. Pours slightly hazy reddish orange with medium thick off-white head. Aroma is big roasty caramel malt and light floral and vegetal hops. Taste is similar - lots of rich toasted caramel malt, decent bitterness in the back from the hops, sappy pine notes stand out most. Lingers bitter on the finish. Plenty tasty but quite malt driven for an Oregon IPA.
