An interesting cross between a saison and an IPA (what do you expect from FFF), and it’s done extremely well. The hops on this thing are incredibly bold and delicious, while the Belgian yeast and spiciness complement them nicely. jcr (2692) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Bomber. Deep, cloudy golden body. Big, frothy, off-white head, slowly diminishing. Big aroma of tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, toasted grain, alcohol, pepper, The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lingering bitterness. Like a cross between Dupont Posca Rustica and Dreadnaught. Fruity, aromatic, juicy. Finish of peppery alcohol and less dry than classic saisons. But overall, this is one enjoyable beer. illkarate (115) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 14, 2012
I’m not compelled to rate too many beers anymore... but I had to login for this one. 22oz, orange/amber in color, quickly dissipating head... not a typical saison, can’t really detect much yeast to this, hops are in the forefront, leaning more toward pine, hints of pomelo. Great offering. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 8, 2012
bomber from the brewery.. pours amber .. aroma of hopps , taste is strong ripe grapefruit, hopps and alcohol... freaking awesome all around, nice clean finish olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Bottle picked up from the brewpub. Peach color pour with light white head. Taste is peppery with slight citrus.

Bottle from Sammy. Dark orange-amber. Light head. Aroma is all grapefruit, where’s the funk? Double IPA disguised as Saison. All hops all the time. Grapefruit ninjas kicking Belgian farm boys ass. bookman10 (1112) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Pours a cloudy, pale, golden-yellow with very thin head. Aroma is full of floral and citrus notes, with some mustiness in the background. Flavor is quite spicy--almost a bit peppery, and fruity, with the distinctive saison bite. This is a pretty good saison (based on my admittedly limited experience with the style). 22 oz bottled poured into my three floyds pint glass. Courtesy of my Chi town trading partner Chris, thanks man!
dark apricot pour with a nice beige head. Smell is dirty malt, hay and hops.
taste is semi sweet, earthy with a peppery finish. My first taste of a FFF saison. Overall pretty good, still prefer their other styles to this. bleeng (1681) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Bottle thanks to Kevin. Musty hoppy nose. Taste is similar to a Belgian IPA with a farmhouse mustiness. Very smooth body. Easy to drink. Sweet. Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2012
Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, pepper, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, dusty hops, fruits, yeast, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish.
