22oz bottle from lemonhead. Cloudy rusty amber with a small off white head. Aroma of honey, milk caramels, peppercorns and lemon. Flavor is very sweet, lots of caramel and butterscotch, there is some mild spice and bitterness. Medium body with a syrupy, flabby mouth feel. This is supposed to be a Saison???, really? This beer is a flabby, under attenuated mess. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 8, 2012

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Drank at the brewpub. Maybe my favorite saison of all time. Light, refreshing and just a little funky. Palate is incredible. Soft and full, just like all of the great Three Floyd's stuff. Absolutely fantastic.

Bottle from "hannont". Colour...golden straw with no head. Nose...loads if tropical fruit with some peach and apricot. Palate...sweet but dry with lots of fruit and some ethanol to go with the predominate peach and apricot and moderate CO2. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Purchased at In Fine Spirits in Chicago, IL after going to the dentist, enjoyed on a nice, cool mid-fall evening. Appearance is a very cloudy, bright orange/ruby red with a rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma of spice, lemon peel, Belgian yeast, mango, definitely rich in tropical fruits. Taste goes down slightly bitter with pronounced fruit/lemon notes, finishes dry, pretty good stuff with noticeable complexities. GranvilleTim (1855) - Granville, Illinois, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Cloudy amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is melon and pineapple hops. Some spiciness. Taste is dry, melon, spicy. The flavor reminds me a little of a honey dew melon. Best saison I have had- 3 Floyds signatur hops make it so. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Draft. Hazy dark gold pour, small white head. No retention/some lace. Aroma of big pineapple/orange/floral hops, spicy yeast. Taste is quite malty, sweet, nice floral/pineapple hop bitterness, fruity esters, big creamsicle. Palate is full, bitter, slick.
Note: The bottle of this was very oxidized, smell/taste of rotten apple. This rating refers to the draft version.
