: BBT1: Thanks to Joes:
Medium to smaller sized creamy off white yellow ish colored foamy head on top of a hazy yellow to orange colored beer.
Aromas of hops and hop fruits, apricot, peach, yeast, grains,
Flavours of bitters, peach, apricot, cream, barley malts, yeast, grains, floral.
Aftertaste of bitters, cream, yeast, light fruity and some bitters.
Low carbo, soft silky mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Different, special and not what we expected but very nice.
Bomber bottle and served in an Unibroue tulip: Pours a deep golden honey hue with an initial huge head which left very good lace upon the glassware The aroma as notes of biscuit, pils, honey, aromatic and crystal mats along with grains of paradise and oregano spice vapours, light to moderate grassy and citric hop esters. The taste is similar to the nose, malty yet not sweet with a noticeable spicy midesection and finish embraced by even handed bitterness, ever present citric notes lets you know this is not an olde word Saison. My only real complaint is the noticeable presence of alcohol which reduces the refreshment factor often found in the genre. Lively crisp and biting mouthfeel, yeah it is a Floyds take on Saison. I would drink this again. nuplastikk (6452) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 24, 2012
22oz bomber bought at the brewery. Wow. This beer is phenomenal. Murky orange-red body, big steady, creamy off-white head. Has the dry funked up hoppiness of a Saison but with the bonus tropical tones, NZ style. Absolutely nails the style, and improves on it. Delicate and soft on the palate despite the big ABV. So much melon hop flavor. One of my favorite beers I’ve had recently for sure, FFF is really on fire. Even at 10 a bomber, I wish I had picked up a few of these. Expected it to be good, but it’s great. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Crazy fruity. Smells like an orange lemon. Bright orange. Not a Saison fan but love this one. Super flavorful and enjoyable.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of all foam finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent dark orange brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was bready musty and malt hop. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of semi-sweet whiskey vinous spices and hops. A wonderful best in class brew.

Bottle @ ZZT8:BBT1. Clear orange colour with particles, with a small white head. Smells green leafs. Tastes malty, bitter, hops.. Slightly.creamy and a big bland. Medium body, soft carbo. superspak (6008) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JAN 16, 2013
22 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy orange amber color with a 2 finger dense fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Some nice foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of big orange zest, orange rind, pineapple, pear, apple, floral, grass, clove, pepper, and earthy yeast esters. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malty hoppiness and yeast spiciness. Taste of orange zest, orange rind, pineapple, clove, pepper, pear, apple, lemon zest, floral, grass, herbal, and earthy yeast spiciness. Good amount of earthy spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus rind, pineapple, clove, pepper, pear, apple, herbal, floral, grass, and earthy yeast spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor complexity and balance of hoppy flavors/spicy yeast esters; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a slick and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice hoppy saison! Very nice balance and complexity of hoppy flavors and yeast spiciness; and extremely smooth to sip on. This was a very enjoyable offering. 65cl, new exclusive American collab. brew Anno 2012, thx to Secret Santa!, complex brew, spicy/bitter and slightly floral/malty, not balanced, cloudy, good head, nice brew, yet very expensive! jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 5, 2013
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of light yeasty notes, some pale and caramel malts, and light hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not that great. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2015
Rated on 5-02-2013 (Bottle) This beer pours a large smooth off-white head with a lengthy retention, golden transparent body, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is malt, citrus hops, honey, and spicy. The flavor is semi-sweet, citrus hops, spicy, and malt. The mouthfeel is lively and this saison is light-medium bodied. A quaffable saison, but I do not care for the taste of it. The flavors come together in a non-typical way for the style.
