22oz bottle pours a slightly hazy orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is bright orange peel, some soap, ladies deodorant, herbal. Flavor has a lot of orange pulp, some malt, some flower petals, herbal, radicchio, some lemoncello. Medium, dry, herbal finish. Kinda weird. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - DEC 17, 2013
Pours a deep orange to brown with white head. Aroma of fruit and malty hops. Taste is fruity caramel forward. No funk. Odd for a saison. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - OCT 21, 2012
22oz bottle from lemonhead. Cloudy rusty amber with a small off white head. Aroma of honey, milk caramels, peppercorns and lemon. Flavor is very sweet, lots of caramel and butterscotch, there is some mild spice and bitterness. Medium body with a syrupy, flabby mouth feel. This is supposed to be a Saison???, really? This beer is a flabby, under attenuated mess. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Nose has some citrus, tropical notes, and white pepper behind too much booze. Flavor is similar but with a touch of light malt. Medium body

Bomber. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Some sediment noticeable. Bready, caramel - comes off more like a mild barley wine. Not bad but far from a typical saison.

651mL thanks to tastybeer. Pours full haze deep orange amber. Massive, creamy, buttermilk head. Enormous retention and lace. Nose is heavier red apple, oxidized apple. Taste is thicker and denser for style, creamy, sweet, orange cream sickle. Palate is thicker, quick finish. Interesting. Not a bright and quenching saison. Mild bitterness, small sweet cream butter, small alcohol heat. I'd place this as- well- nothing. No special yeast strain, under attenuated, sort of like homebrew.

hazy orange, light cream head lasts. Zesty nose is light citrus, heavy pineapple with faint peach sweetness, honey then with warmth comes dum dum sweetness, probably the watermelon. Flavor is quite bitter, paper and orange up front with medicine and burn mid-finish. Wouldn’t have guessed saison. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Hmmmm. Was skeptical about this one as I wouldn’t associate either of these breweries with the saison style but that was part of the allure as well as the hieroymus bosch meets robert crumb like label. Anyway lets start talking about the actual beer... pours a medium copper color with three fingers of sticky khaki foam. The nose is more of a barleywine... cornpop cereal, butterscotch, taffy and copper pennies. Hmmm. WTF, this has to be full of diacetyl infection after looking at other reviews there is no way I could pick anything close to traditional saison flavors... and it seems some people actually did get a saison in this bottle... butterscotch, copper pennies. Drainpour !
