Overall, a really solid saison with a strong tropical fruit nose and taste..but worked. brewskis (123) - Saint John, Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2012 Pours a nice cloudy amber orange color with a finger length head of an off white color. Head dissipates quickly and leaves a soapy lacing. Smells of spiciness like black pepper, apricot, mango, pineapple, pear, big earthy character to it, some grass and dirt, lots of funkiness, some sweet carmel or toffee. Smells like a big, abrasive saison should. Taste starts with the slightly sweet apricot and mango, then you get the characteristic saison flavor in the middle. Funky spiciness and earthiness. Finishes with more delightful fruity hop flavors, along with more spiciness. What sets this saison apart is the fact that it is full bodied. I’m not a big fan of saisons, but this one really works because it has that fullness to it and is hopped up, which you can say for a lot of beers Floyds is associated with. Great creamy mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation. My favorite saison by far. mmalon3 (12) - Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Picked up a 22oz bottle from FFF brewery and poured into a stemmed wine glass. Slightly hazy golden amber in color with white frothy head. The aroma is dominated by fruity citrus hops and some green apple. The palate is sweet and malty, but not clawing. Overall the beer is sweet, citrusy and tart, but an increased carbonation level would help to cut some of the acidity. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 8, 2012
bomber from the brewery.. pours amber .. aroma of hopps , taste is strong ripe grapefruit, hopps and alcohol... freaking awesome all around, nice clean finish DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - DEC 20, 2012
An interesting cross between a saison and an IPA (what do you expect from FFF), and it’s done extremely well. The hops on this thing are incredibly bold and delicious, while the Belgian yeast and spiciness complement them nicely.

22oz bomber bought at the brewery. Wow. This beer is phenomenal. Murky orange-red body, big steady, creamy off-white head. Has the dry funked up hoppiness of a Saison but with the bonus tropical tones, NZ style. Absolutely nails the style, and improves on it. Delicate and soft on the palate despite the big ABV. So much melon hop flavor. One of my favorite beers I’ve had recently for sure, FFF is really on fire. Even at 10 a bomber, I wish I had picked up a few of these. Expected it to be good, but it’s great. conway (2210) - - MAR 12, 2013
Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Drank at the brewpub. Maybe my favorite saison of all time. Light, refreshing and just a little funky. Palate is incredible. Soft and full, just like all of the great Three Floyd's stuff. Absolutely fantastic.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of all foam finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent dark orange brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was bready musty and malt hop. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of semi-sweet whiskey vinous spices and hops. A wonderful best in class brew. Patrickctenchi (6591) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Pours bright, hazy, orange with a tall, off-white head.
Aroma is sweet grapefruit hoppy.
Taste is sweet tropical.....pineapple, tangerine, sweet spice...creamy.
Candy sweet....with a slight bitter finish.
Very light and soft feel.
Sort of a light IPA wrapped around a fruit cocktail.
One nice drinking Saison from 3F.... AndyReynolds (1085) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Maybe the best saison I have had, but one for a hop lover for sure (go figure, it is from 3 Floyds). Aroma is complex, not just hoppy and citrusy, but earthy tones with some bananaish type notes. Very different. Palate is thick and full finishing dry. Flavor is sweet and lasting. I am pretty impressed with this one.
