Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Pours a reddish bronze, creamy head and lacing. Caramel nose, wheat and straw, hoppy, colorful notes of dark fruit. Crisp flavors, mostly caramel, vanilla, some interesting rye elements, cocoa, and biscuit. Smooth body, tasty, big American influence here. MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
Bottle, 10.4%. Caramelly hop aroma. Almost clear dark amber colour. Small frothy white head. Powerful hop flavour, caramelly and grassy hoppiness. Does not really taste like a wheat beer, but it gives it a more subtle and rounded feel. Some warming alcohol feel in the finish. Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle found in Beer Paradise (Holstebro). What an amazing intense aroma. Flowers, Citric fruits, plum, caramel, peach and more. I couldn’t stop smelling it !Amber colored (almost like caramel). Full bodied with tastes of caramel , malt, lots of hops and citric aroma. A very complex beer which I personally would like a little bit less alcoholic. Bitter finish. Very nice nevertheless. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - SEP 7, 2008
cloudy copper, medium tan head, some lacing. aroma of malt, hint of hops and fruit. flavor is grapefruit, malt, bitter pine. creamy mouth feel, full bodied, a hint of alcohol. as it warmed, the sweetness became more prominent, slightly less enjoyable.

bomber from iowaherkeye on 6/18/08. Thanks Joey! Amber color. Lots of melanoidins. Reminds me of a lightly hopped IIPA, like Hop 15, with all that caramelization. Smells ggood. Sweetish, malty, delicious. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 6, 2008
Tasting at PP Carlsbad, thanks to Peruster! Dark dense orange hue, off-white foam, thin lacing. Nose is wheat, yeast, sweet honey, caramel malts, grassy hops. Taste is bitter and drying wheat up front with sweet grain malts, yeast midway, grassy hops finish up sweet and dry. Thick and creamy texture with moderate carbonation. A nicely sweetened and balanced wheat wine with very drying finish, alcohol well-masked at 10%. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2008

Clear copper color, tan head. Sweet caramelly malty and grainy scent mixed with some citrusy hops and even more alcohol, some marzipan also. Bitter, more bitter finishing rather bitter taste. Alcohol aftertaste and also warming. Full mouthfeel, big bitternes. GAve it two rating, about 3.2 when honest, about 3.7 when considering it was a good effort, it did grow on me when getting more into the bottle, so finished at about 3.5 at last.
Pours clear reddish copper with a tan head. The aroma is very sweet wheat, brown sugar, molasses, hoppiness, some abv and lots of fruitiness. Medium / thick body with a good bit of semi-soft frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with alcohol, brown sugar, some cereal, toasty wheat malt and a bit of abv burn. The finish has lingering alcohol. This was good, but didn’t hide the high alcohol very well.
