Cheers..:

ALIBALI (1989) - Kiel, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2016
Dann ganz spät CENTENNIAL POWER!? 30 Month in love beer. Bigfoot Spirit trifft auf feine englische Würzmalzgkeit. BABY TRIFFT AUF SCHNUFFI!!! In 2,5 Jahren, gehts weiter. Bottle Two Vernaschung. AROMA???? 10!!!!!!!! Hart am Limit.... Baby says: Bernsteintrübes Elixier. 9/5/10/4/19

Sweet vinous aroma with a distinct touch of plum and citrus. The taste can be recognized in deep rich vinous character which also plum, grapes and melon included. Long warming aftertaste. Its wheat character I can not quite figure out, but it would not change that it anyway is extremely delicate.

Bottle share @ Budapest. Fruity and hoppy with pine needles and caramel, also grapefruit. Body is medium to full, the finish is bitter and fruity with notes of pine needles.

This thing is balanced. Biscuit, caramel, spice, lemon, pine aroma. Much the same in taste. Excellent mouthfeel, thick, but still nicely drinkable. I love this beer.

Hvedegooppi kaatuu lasiin kirsikanpunaisena, muodostaen kaunista pitsiä jättävää, vaalean beigeä vaahtoa. Tuoksu on havuinen, pihkainen, karamellinen ja trooppisen hedelmäinen. Tuoksun hedelmissä on ainakin appelsiinia. Maku on havuinen, pihkaisen katkera, edelleen hedelmäinen ja katkera. Jälkimaku on pitkä ja katkera. Pieni makeus seuraa mukana taustalla koko ajan.

On tap at underground. Pours a cloudy copper with a reddish tinge and big white head leaving lace down the glass. Aromas of sweet malt, citrus, dark fruit notes. Flavours of medium sweetness, mild grapefruit bitterness, alcohol presence is there though quite smooth and a dry finish.

Bottle from FFF. Huh. Well, this is different. Here I’m anticipating a wheat wine, but it really isn’t. It’s more like an IIPA, kind of like an imperial Gumballhead, actually. Nose is citrusy and peachy. Pour is deep amber with a disappearing head. Nice and bitter with a big malt backbone. Actually, I really dig this one...
