Draft at Three Floyds. Pours a pale gold, light haze and a white head. The nose is nice. Soft grainy malt with a citrusy hop profile, fresh. Some light tropical fruit as well. On tasting, clean and light. Soft pale malt supports medium bitterness. Good hop flavor overall, back into the citrus and the like. Clean and dry on the finish. Really nice APA here. deyholla (11503) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a really nice grassy hop note with a hint of citrus and a nice grain backbone. Flavor starts with light citrus that morphs into light grass with a nice grain backbone. Jriggz7 (117) - Indiana, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Not bad. I was getting a nice amount of floral notes. Might of been sanitizer reminants in glass. Wasn’t to impressed tho. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Draft. Medium white head, crystal clear light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some bread, light spicy. Taste is medium sweet, bread, grapefruit, light spicy. Light-medium body, quite drinkable. Not particularly bitter, but quite flavorful and quaffable. RAYBOY01 (2011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Deep golden pour, white fluffy lingering head. Nose is very prominent citrus, pine, grapefruit, tangerine. Flavors are all hop forward...citrus and pine. Some decent caramel malt sweetness with some moderate bready notes. Makes a really good summer refresher after cutting the grass. Quite well done.

Huge head on top of a clear gold pour. Aroma of grain with a light mouth. Taste is full of grain and malted barley. Very easy drinking. Great lacing. Almost has a taste of corn nuts. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2012
On draft at 3 Floyds, pours a dark golden color, aromas of citrus, and hops. Flavors are the same, light bitterness at the end, not the best beer here but still decent and refreshing. Strykzone (7306) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Pint at the brewpub. Clear copper hue with a one inch white foam. I smell citrus in the hops but they are more subtle in the flavor. Yeast is tasted here more than other APAs and that is bread. Grass is tasted. The hops bring a different kind of spice and it is one that I cannot pin down. Not quite. brown sugar, not quote roasted. Of course, it is Three Floyds so the unexpected is expected. Interesting beer here. Tasty, too. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2012
On tap at 3floyds in an imperial pint. Pours a clear yellow orange with a perfect inch thick white head and great lacing. Aroma is fresh cut grass, orange, pine, and toffee. Flavor is grapefruit, orange, tangerine, grain, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel and a bit sticky. Different than the typical 3floyds pale and really good. Had a very different hop profile, had some roasted grain notes as well. Taste was similar with a sweet caramel like and nut flavors. Very refreshing but quite a different brew.
