Clear pale amber colour, thick firm white head. Soft but really strong juicy hop aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Loads of citric fruit in flavour with silky smooth malt profile. Fresh green hops in the long bitter aftertaste. Very good.

Deep hazed copper, thin white creamy head. Nose pumps out grapefruit, spruce, florals, sweet buttery toffee, and caramel. My older bottle seems to be more balanced then past fresh bottles that typically were hop nation. Even so, flavor is still hops galore with a bitter-sweet rich malt backbone shining through nicely. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth, creamy, bitter-sweet citric finish. One of the best APA’s in the world......

Nicely balanced, complex palate sweet, piney/resiny. Dry pleasant finish with a medium bite.

Bottle. Dark amber color medium white head. Complex aroma of sweet malt and hops. Flavor was very good and finish was strong with small bite. Good beer to use as my 100 beer rated on this page. Great service.

Had on tap. Orange in appearance. Very hoppy flavor with a taste of orange. My friends can’t handle IPAs, so I ended up drinking theirs as well. Very good.

A clear copper colored brew with a creamy thick tan head. WOW, another wondeful hop explosion. Man, who doesn’t like the aroma of Cascade hops, it’s so refreshing! Just as tasty as it smells. Has a nice malt flavor too, some crystal perhaps, it’s there but you have to find it. With several IPA’s I’ve aquired in trade, you guys are turning me into a real hop head! No complaints, keep them coming!

Wow, what a well balanced beer! Nothing dominates over the other, malt, hops, great flavor, A-1 American beer, 3floyds should be proud! Balanced!

AleDrinker (1089) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 7, 2005
Very good pale ale. Pours amber with dense medium head. Aroma is of FRESH hops but just enough malt to balance. Flavor is hoppy with a smooth dry finish. My girlfriend had this beer shipped to me all the way from Chicago. Makes the beer even better. What a damn fine woman.

Poured light orange. Nice fine bubbled head that really lasts and gives great lacing. Orange color in a shaker glass. Perfect amount of citusy hop aroma. Supercarbonated. Nice slightly malty, citrusy flavor with a bitter punch at the end that is not overpowering and fades to a pleasant aftertaste. A pretty flawless pale ale, but on the flipside, no particularly interesting notes to give this one distinction. Nonetheless, this is one of the best american pale ales I have tried.

Bery nice amber hue. Think white lace of a head. Very hoppy armoma. The taste backs it up with the first sip. The finish is crisp and dry leaving you thirsty for more.
