A pale orange/copper. Clear, minimal head. Aroma has a very cutrusy, hoppy and inviting quality. Huge malts, huge hops, fruity qualities all balanced superbly. Nice DRY finish. A great APA!

Near perfect hopping (for me anyway) with a substantial fruity flavor - well Balanced in this respect. The finish is dry, but not too dry. This beer is much more complex than I expected.

Nice fruity scent. Flavor is mighty hoppy, with very strong grapefruit tastes. Hops give a crisp, dry finish. Good malts to back up the hops, nice long finish. Slightly thin, would prefer it a bit creamier in the palate, but still darn fine.

As a recovering hop head sometimes to much hops is just to much hops. A good beer, but to Cascade overdosed to be a great beer.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2003 Had it in Cincinnati. Found it at Jungle Jim's (see Jim's web site). WoW, ZaP, ZiNg, PoW...the orangy/grapefruit hop bitter slaps you right in the taste buds and wakes them right up. Almost like a light IPA. A really good beer.

This beer had a nice dark amber orange color to it. It formed a nice light tan head that left some nice lace. A slight hop and malt aroma to it. The flavor had hops and malt with a sweet, but not too sweet, citrus and caramel taste. It has a medium body and finish. Not as dry of a finish as their Pride and Joy, but a good beer.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2005 Draft:Complex malt aromas and flavor with just enough, juicy, hop aroma and flavor. Dark, cloudy, appearance for a pale ale. Taste is suprising for the aroma.Big time malts and appetizing bitterness are balanced. In my experiences, impossible to find a good six pack though.Tap rating would be higher probably.

Deep copper colored with a white frothy head. Very well hopped with a good malty balance. Dry and crisp with fruity undertones.

Big citrus/tropical fruit nose. Nice hop bite at the front with a good malt back. Balanced very nicely. Now if I could just get some Dreadnaught...

Citrus and melon nose, Hop bite from middle to finish. Delicious, esay drinkin', refreshing, hoppy but balanced well.
