Had on draft at FFF brewpub. This is a nice amber and could be easily confused with Alpha King in a blind-taste test. A well-balanced beer.

Draft, several =). Wow, this kicks ass. New Zealand is amazing, aroma is so full of Sauvin with a bit of caramel and pine. Flavor follows, soooo juicy, bright, punchy, beautiful... I could drink this for a very very long time...

On tap at The Map Room in Chicago. I really enjoyed this beer. Lots of fruity hop aroma with some grain sweetness. Quenching explosion of resiny & fruity hops flavour. Very drinkable, alcohol wasn’t really apparent. 2010-11-12

On tap at brewpub. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, grapefruit, and fresh hops. Flavors of citrus hops, tropical fruits, and bit of bready malt. Medium mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Pretty damn good.

Draft at Three Floyds, served in an imperial pint glass. Pours a cloudy red-amber color with a small, creamy beige head. Big aroma of herbal and floral hops, pine sap, citrus peel, caramel malts, and tropical fruits. Flavor is similar, but more citrusy and resinous, with grapefruit, pine resin, and some malts. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, a floral mouthfeel, and a bitter finish. Fresh and nice, and reminds me of a lot of the great beers I drank in Aotearoa itself last year.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear amber with a near white head that dissipated slowly to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma had a strong grapefruit note with a strong grain backing. Flavor began with grapefruit throughout with a bread backing

Three floyds aoterea. Half pint at Fff... Pours a medium caramel copper brown with a frothly light beige head... Aroma of earthy green almost wethop feel to it. Light malt reinforced...Earthy crisp citrusy hop with an equally balancing malt backbone. Smooth and drinkable with a touch of bitterness although very subtle in the finish. Fresh green dankness also comes through to boot. Very much enjoyed and solid overall. 7/4/8/4/15
