Bomber from Hot Rod. Milk Suger is definitely a unique approach. Creates a complex beer. luttonm (6644) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2016
Bottle in Seattle. Thanks Pruf! Creamy foam, creamy orange body. Big worty sweet grain aroma. Firm heavy IPA body with a twist of lacto smack in the middle. A bit of a honey note, but generally feels to me like it accentuates a character in some strong ipas of creamy, bitter grain. Tasty but I’m not sold on the style. Creamy string bitter finish with some hot alc notes. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 28, 2016
Big thanks to Matt for sharing the bottle. Hazy orange pour. Nose is heavy on the malt, as expected. Hops sit behind some sugary malts. Smells like wort. Like walking down a street when the nearby brewery is mid-boil. Chewy. More bitterness in the flavor. Finish is candied citrus resin. Interesting add with the lactose. Really not bad, though I’ve never been big on midwest IPAs. Msgriffi (48) - - JUL 28, 2016
Wow, holy cow. Malt body with velvet smoothness leads to pure crisp hop flavor and a touch of alcohol heat. But still drinkable. The malt keeps it from a pure hop bomb, but tons of hop flavor that lingers on the plate. A touch resinous but a big beer that you can sip and lose track of. Must love hops.

Bottle. Pours a hazy goldenish color. Aroma and taste are tons of juicy citrus, tropical fruits, and sweet malts.

App: Somewhat hazy golden amber with a creamy dirt white head leaving some lace.
Aroma: Sticky sweet bitter aroma with grapefruit, mango, apricot, litchi and resin as well as sticky caramel and some toast.
Taste: Also on the sweet side with apricot, grapefruit, lychee with caramel and toast and a resiny herbal bitter finish with a pinch of alcohol.
Palate: Bigger body with soft carbonation and a sticky oily texture.
Overall: A sweet and robust sticky DIPA with lots of jammy fruits like apricot. Bold, but well made and tasty.
Very good. But I prefer malt sweetness to cow. Great hop qualities. Odd palate. I’d have again. RLiddell (141) - Valrico, Florida, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Bottle brought back from Milwaukee. Pour is a hazy, golden color. I do get much on the nose. Taste is subdued bitterness with a moderately strong malt character. Great mouth feel. Very nice imperial IPA. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - OCT 8, 2015
(bottle - 22 oz) Copper pour with a thick white head. Surprising low amount of hops in the aroma. Tons of sweet malts with some caramel hints. Flavor has a big hop bite near the finish after a citrusy and malty forefront. Really smooth and a great aftertaste. [9/10/15]
