Bottle. Quite lot of hops in this one, bravely balanced by caramel, maybe even too much, resiny, orange, some generic fruitiness, very good. High bitterness. Good one. MisoW (3578) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 17, 2015
Bottle at Three Floyds tasting. Pours bit hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of caramel, honey, malt, orange, tangerines. Taste is sweet, medium bitter, caramel, citrusy, hoppy, orange. mfhennig (285) - McHenry County, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2015
22 oz bomber pours a foggy golden orange with a nice off white head that faded fast. Aroma is citrus and resiny pine. Taste is very fruity, citrus mostly, maybe some mango. Nice malty finish probably helps eliminates some of the bitterness I expected, maybe that’s why I prefer Imperial and double IPA’s.
Overall, this is a Damn good brew, too bad 3 Floyd’s beers are so hard to get! emusche (209) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Pours golden with nice head, doesn't thin too quick. Collars nicely around the glass and clings to the sides. Aroma is some malt, piney hops, nice citrus grapefruit scents. Taste is floral and grapefruit up front, descending into the sharp malt and bitterness. Very good.

Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Smells of melon, tropical fruit, the bubblegum I get from the FFF ale yeast. Taste is similar: lots of fruity hops up front, faint bubblegum, the bitterness follows. Some of the fruitiness lasting into the finish. A nice, underlying sweetness that supports a medium bitterness, though far from a sweet DIPA. Slightly soft mouthfeel, medium bodied, average carbonation; bitter finish.

Pours an attractive heavy orange with a two finger head that laces well. Taste is orange, apricot, grapefruit and pine. Very hoppy but not over the top. Excellent imperial IPA.

A: Grapefruit, dandelions, mango, passionfruit T: taste follows nose, get some anise as well. O: Expected a lot more hops! Quite sweet. Too old? Very nice anyway. Really enjoy it, but pretty overpriced in Sweden. napdynmite (91) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Big hop punch but none of the citrus or pine featured in other DIPAs. Expect more burnt caramel/orange candy. Beautiful nose and some stickiness. Watch that ABV, it’ll sneak up on you... Advocate_Ames (626) - Steubenville, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2015
Pours a hazy reddish orange with a good head that dissipates and sticks to my glass. The aroma is nicely hopped. I picked up on spicy, tangerine and tropical citrus, and pine notes from the hops. I enjoyed the sweet scents and malty backbone too. While drinking I noticed a sweet malty flavor with a defined citrus taste. There is a good moderate bitterness that creeps with intensity to be more profound in the finish but yet fades nicely. As for my palate it was impacted but I rather enjoyed the damage done. Overall a great beverage and a very drinkable potent ipa. Find this one fresh and it is worth every sip. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - APR 29, 2015
Now this is a delicious beer. Cloudy orange with a thick long lasting head. Citrus, pine, and light fruit nose. Tangerine, mango, orange hop flavors with a perfectly balanced caramel and bready malt body. Love the balance on this and a great hop aftertaste.
