Golden cloudy color. The hop aroma can be smelled from several feet awat from the glass. Tropical fruit and sweet citrus smell. Flavor blasts the tongue. Well roinded complex hoppy flavor. Bitter dry finish. impaleyou (24) - Indiana, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Awesome imperial pa. Quite citrusy ans delicious. High alcohol content so watch out... j_rogers007 (9) - Kokomo, Indiana, USA - MAR 3, 2013 does not count
An absolutely smooth Double IPA. This finishes with a bite like it should but the rest of the way it tastes of citrus and marmalade and honey. Very clean mouth feel and the alcohol is well hidden. I had a bottle from the bar and will have another today. Well worth the extra money. lilko987 (2) - - JUN 13, 2013 does not count
I was quit skeptical about trying this beer? But as soon I tried it changed my whole prospected on beer. AROMA; was very appealing you could smell the strong flavored hops APPEARANCE: seemed to have a nice light golden texture beer head was far from being flat nicely carbonated. TASTE : ohhhh..man the taste(LoL) was heavy but in a good way you can really taste the complex taste little sour at first but it goes away after a couple swigs(that means sips) over all the one of the best beers the Floyds have to offer Benphishin (10) - Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Hop lovers rejoice! Hoppy up front, hoppy on the palate. A bit of fruit after a few swallows, but not overwhelming. Beautiful copper orange. Thank you Three Floyds!

Rosemerry hop aroma that inundated everything...slight sage and white pepper. Flavor had a big backbone of crystal malt and slight redid sweetness that balanced the big IBU. Awesome n McCarty23 (53) - Vista, California, USA - APR 17, 2015
Dark golden pour. Lacing white head. Lemon citrus pine hop nose. Flavor of intense bitterness. Finishes with same hops as the aroma with lingering hop bitterness. Paigeturner (101) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Another great brew from TF. Big malty and even happier aroma from dark orange pour. Flavor of full malts and then big hop punch. Finishes with some alcohol but hops are the dominate trait. Excellent. Tap (22) - - FEB 21, 2011
Had this on tap. Love the IPAs. Extra fresh on tap. Comparable to the Dreadnaught which I love. Great beer A+ CincyBeercat (17) - Ohio, USA - JAN 31, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 Nice deep golden color. Thick creamy white head. Great citrus scent, not overly piney. Very smooth drinking for such a strong beer. Delicious! Right up there with Stone Ruination as my favorite Imperial IPAs... so far!
