Draft at source. Black pour, tan head, good retention/lace. Aroma of coffee/chocolate/cream/roast. Taste is espresso, dark chocolate, roast, light creamer. Palate is soft and creamy, lightly bitter finish. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Toby. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nose is sweet milk chocolate roast a dark fruit thing going on and some earthy notes. 0.65l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. It’s a really deep and dark brown this, not far off being black in color. A small quickly fading dark brown thread on the top, no real lacings. Smells sweetish with lots of vanilla. Coconut, wet cocoa beans, some chocolate wrapper and a little bit of something mild spicy. Is it cinnamon? Smells nice. Tastes a bit toothpasty. Complex aromas of molasses, chocolate and coffee. Better than average foam. Taste was solid through out my sitting. Not all stouts can say that. Just bitter enough to keep dark chocolate notes going. Complexity is this beer’s forte.

Pours an opaque black from the bomber with fluffy tan head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice chocolate notes and earth over some oxidized soy. Taste follows, less oxidation on the tongue. Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with smooth roasted oat notes and light oak notes is pretty enticing. Taste is a great mix between some roasted oat malt notes with black chocolate notes and a smooth finish with light residual sugar and light oak notes. Bottle. thanks Excellent Little Brother! Black with a brown head. Soft chocolate, creamy oatmeal porridge, a little vanilla and some raisins in the nose. Bitter, vanilla, tad bit alcoholic and very velvety taste. Full body, bitter and vanilla finish, fairly carbonated, rich and flavorful.
