This one poured a dark bronw with a tan head. Aroma was of of chocolate, barrel, and rotten fruit. Flavor was very sweet, all cassis, but a weird funky rotting taste. Just weird and not good. madmitch76 (24360) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2014

Mikkeller Vik. Three Floyds tap takeover. Glass share thanks to Fonefan who wouldn’t reveal where his glass came from. Maybe (shock horror) he pilfered it! Clear deep red beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Paint like ester sweetness. Mixed berries, touch of spice. Tangy berry finish. Not Three Floyds finest but okay.
Bottle at MikkellerBar. unclear dark brown - red/brown-ish head. Roasted. Sweetness. Berries. Cassis. Acid. Licorice. Rye bread. Tart oak and black berries. Dryness. Lovely. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 1, 2014

2013 bottle #69 in trade - Pours a rich mahogany brown. Aroma is of deep fruit - almost like a port. Flavor is....unique. Almost a sour wine thing going on. For me, too much sour fruit - not enough to be a real sour - but enough that it was at times unpleasant to drink. Flavor grew on me a bit by the end of my glass, but if you handed me a bottle of it I’d probably pass on it. zebra (2096) - Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2014
750-ml bottle from 3f. would’ve preferred fruitier, like the variant with Cherries. rating #1!
