Hazy Brown, almost Black. Tart, roasted aroma. Some faint casis notes in the taste. Bourbon? I cannot find it. Perhaps a Little peat? But mostly an alcoholic note that is more like a shnaps. No barrel stuff like Vanilla or dill. A bit unclean. Strange.

750ml bottle 81 of 324. Pours out a brown with some amber topped with a small tan head. nose is tons going on pit fruit bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar. Taste is more of the pit fruit sweetness bourbon barrel spice and a odd end.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of oak, whiskey and currants. The flavor is a mix of currants, chocolate, roasted malt, oak, vanilla and whiskey. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice beer.

Clear medium black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, cassis - black currant, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart fruit - berry, black currant, dark malt, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
