Aroma is hop resin, Brett funk, citrus/fruit and a small hint of tea/spring water. The flavor is pineapple, citrus, malts, hop resin, relatively mild Brett funk and a tart/increasingly bitter finish. joshmcg000 (388) - Iowa, USA - AUG 4, 2015
Pours very hazy amber / gold. Aroma is big on hops, tropical fruit and floral but there is some belgian type yeast in there to. Slightly sour yeasty funkyness up front. Lots of tropical fruit hops. Fairly thick texture, kind of a heavy beer for the percentage, but its got a ton of stuff going on. Pretty dry and on the yeast side its got alitte of the belgian yast type flavor and some bubblegum. Very good very complex, and I think very underrated on here. shrubber85 (11397) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 21, 2015
Bottle. Horse blanket, pineapple, malt and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large off-white head. Strong funky barnyard, citrus malt, and moderately bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Light vinous finish. Very nice. swigswthwolves (74) - Michigan City, Indiana, USA - DEC 31, 2012
What’s not to love about a sour? Pours light amber with lots of carbonation. Aroma is heavy with a sour vinegar odor. Taste is somewhat sour and a bit subdued. Palate feel is not out of the ordinary. Overall it’s a great to have an opportunity to try this one and it was worth standing in line for it. Bottle 143/480. madelfonatree (317) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 8, 2015
Bottled July 22, 2015 enjoyed September 8, 2015 in a Hopslam tulip/snifter.
Look - Finger head. Medium bubbles. Off white. Body is murky with no sediment. I’ll call it orange.
Smell - Smells dank and sour. Really weird combination. Tart.
Taste - Pineapple. Light sour. Raspberry. Hop. Malt. Lemon.
Feel - Smooth and no carbonation bomb. No tongue terror.
Overall - Finally a sour I can take! Not too overpowering and still has the IPA characteristics. I can lightly taste wine barrel. Reviews for this don’t like how calm a sour it is but I like it.

Bottle. Gorgeous hazy orange pour. Pineapple, Spice, and brett on the nose. Little pineapple taste with pine and other earthy flavors. Was expecting more hop presence but still really enjoyed this beer. Not sure what everyone else is drinking rating this in the 2’s. fidelis83 (2437) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - AUG 27, 2015
Bomber thanks to joshmcg000. Cloudy orange pour with a three finger creamy to fluffy off white head. Aroma is pineapple forward tropical fruit, with liberal helping of passion fruit and a little melon as well, orange peel, bretty funk, a good whiff of light to no toast oak, tart vinous notes, green woodiness and some wet basement. Flavor is loaded with pineapple, tart apple and green grapes up front, light sweet grass, sweet wheaty cereal, a hint of spruce shoots and a light funky old fallen leaves note. On the thicker side of medium bodied with a creamy to slightly chewy entry, light to medium, blanketing and somewhat sharp carbonation and dry, slightly chalky finish, with a bit of a hop acid bite. Really tasty stuff, hits most of the right notes for a funky Belgian IPA to me. Patrickctenchi (6586) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 4, 2015
Cloudy, light brown/amber with a small, soapy white ring.
Brett, overripe fruit, wood, dusty aroma.
Taste is very woody....pineapple, apple, light caramel, grain malt.
Nice, rich, funkiness...musty...
Not really sour...more of a basement bitter.....fairly complex.
Fairly low-key and easy drinking for a FFF Sour.....
Really, really, a pleasure to drink. markducommun (1116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Golden orange, light cloudiness, white head. Sweet pineapple, light horse hair funk. Quite bitter, some sourness, quite dry. Longer finish. Lighter clean body. Decent amount of alcohol. Quite good. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 2, 2015
Orange cloudy pour at home from 22oz bottle. White foamy head. Tropical fruit and apricot aroma. Vanilla and oak notes, citrus and orange flavors. Can definately pick up the brett. Pretty damn tasty.
