clear gold. bitter without the fff grapefruit onslaught, more crisp and floral rather yet still with hints of citrus. pucker up to a bitter long aftertaste. not much else but big drinking. i like it. EddieG (169) - Palos Heights, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2003
Slightly different from the usual Three Floyds MO. The beer is crystal clear with an amber/orange color. The aroma is floral, but not C-hop floral. The beer is light and crisp, very drinkable. Noticable use of English malt and hops, perhaps Fuggles. Teh beer finishes with a round english touch. Good mineral taste throughout as evident in many english style beers. Definately a nice deviation from Floyds. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 16, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2003 This English bitter takes on the famous Three Floyds character. Obviously bitter with a hint of Floyd-like hops bite. a great aftertaste makes this a pleasent addition to the Three Floyds line. Can we say imperial american standard?
