(22oz bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of vinegar, chemicals, acetone, and citrus. Flavor of vinegar, herbs, acetone, and florals.

750 ml yellow-waxed bottle #100/336. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is sour citrus, apples, white grapes and solvent. The flavor is harsh, sour, solvent, with light citrus and white grape influences, more solvent though. Disappointing.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a hazy medium yellow color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour tart fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. This is an below average beer for style.

750 ml yellow-waxed bottle to snifter (bottle #100/336; thanks alexsdad06). Looks solid; a semi-transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells tart and vinegary. Tastes like it smells with a very tart mouthfeel. Okay, but way too unbalanced to be a limited FFF release.

Shared this amazing beer with the crowd at Pipeworks for Alex’s (Masterski) birthday. I’m only a little sorry. 750 ml waxed bottle served in a New Glarus tasting glass. Bottle # 153/336. A: Pours a clear yellow color with a bubbly body. A thick white head forms on the pour and sticks around for the long, long time it took me to finish a few ounces. S: My first whiff into this beer is nail polish. Wonderful. Large sour notes with some harsh wood spice. T: More nail polish with a dark sharpie marker note the lingers deep in the nostrils. There is an odd rotten oak flavor with a spicy battery acid and some heavy sour notes. M: So weird. Light bodied, but there is on odd chalky feel with large carbonation. Mouth puckering sourness and just off putting. O: Well, thankfully I didn’t have to drink more than a few ounces. I’m glad I got to share this beast with the usual suspects and we never have to speak of this beer again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-15-2012

(22oz bomber thanks to Chris at Ebenezer’s Pub) clear gold. Nose of acetone, very tart, unpalatable, pickle juice all the way, way to tart/acidic. Just can’t drink this one. No one at the bar who tried this, enjoyed it. Nasty.

750 ml bottle shared by STLWill- thanks a ton, Will! I know I bugged you to open this one for me. I appreciate it. Bottle 96/336. Pours a mostly clear gold with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of apples, rain water, yogurt, oak, sweat, and acetic acid. Messy. Flavor of grapes, apples, lemon, yogurt, peach, and a whole lot of vinegar at the end. First sip is not bad at all but it gets progressively worse. Medium-bodied, with high carbonation and an initially fruity, then vinegary and briney mouthfeel. Weird sour.

Bottle 52/336, shared with some buds. I don’t see why this is scored so low, I found it to be quite tasty. The aroma may have some traces of nail polish but for the most part it’s sour and tart, like any good sour/wild. The flavor may not have a lot of complexity but it’s still an enjoyable beer.

bottle 104/336 from sparky on 1/22/12. hazy yellow orange with a white head. it smells like pickles and sauerkraut....or, awesome mixed with iced tea florals, wood, lemon peel, grapefruit, umami and minerals. the flavor is the same only a peppery, spicy , over the top tart version or the aroma. it is crisp and medium bodied with a milky mouth feel. we must’ve had an anomaly bottle... 8/3.5/8/3/16
