4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2015 At Fork. Not a typical DIPA made in the US. The hops are more floral and grassy and the over all hoppy-nes is much smoother initially with a bitter twist at the end. Malts nicely balance everything. Full bodied with out being syrupy. Nice stuff. Serving: Tap

On tap at Three Floyds. Pours copper with a foamy clinging beige head and an oaky malt flavor. There is a hearty mixed malt flavor with a fairly bitter finish. Nice hop profile. phranq (250) - - JUL 21, 2017
Old bottle but still decent. Sweet malt through out. Very little hops in this old bottle. Would love to try fresh. BlackBeerPG (842) - Darien, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Taste: slight sweet malt, alcohol notes with a spiced hop forward flavor. Nose has complicated hops and some boozy aroma. Deep amber/gold, somewhat opaque, tall foam head with delicate lace. Medium body luttonm (6634) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2016
Bottle in Seattle. Picked this up in Chicago. Creamy gray foam. hazed copper with orange highlights. Surprising but nice toasty character. Caramel, alc note, some chalky aftertaste. Rich, tasty. Fruity wood, smooth bittering with a little burn on finish. nice.

22 oz bottle poured, shared by luttonm. Thanks! Pours a hazy copper orange color with a rocky head. Toasty malt aroma with a clear sweet side to it. Bready malt, orange fruit bite, middle to high bitterness, some dryness as well. Oak for sure. Hop bitter, warming finish. Very nice imperial here. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUL 24, 2016

Bottle, 65cl. Sparkling orange with visible sediment and a creamy offwhite head. Aromas of fruity hops, caramel, pine. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Rich and smooth. Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitterness. Delicious roasted and hoppy character into an exquisite astringent finish. Magnificent. Percy0103 (777) - MEXICO - JUN 17, 2016
Bottle, 650ml. A clear amber beer with a big head and some sediments. Aroma is of citric hops, malt, floral notes and aromatic wood. Medium bodied, with some carbonation and a bitter finish. A great balance between the malt and the hops; an Imperial IPA with a strong English character.
