Bottle, 2013 vintage, shared with some cool beer mates. Not living up to the expectations at all: the medium body of the regular Behemoth fades away by the overproportion of bourbon, rendering the palate thin and watery. Aroma is also quite bland... Nicest characteristic is slight and subtle almond. CanIHave4Beers (4233) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - JUL 7, 2014

Pours a deep red with a small head.
The aroma is very rich, caramelly, sort of herbal with lots of vanilla. It’s got some bourbon to it, but not in an overwhelming way, just a nice pleasant way that’s woven well with the other elements.
The flavor is all that real neat vanilla, cooked fruit, & toffee sort of thing. It’s got some cherry like fruitiness, some wood, and some bourbon... but again like the aroma the barrel is more complimentary here than dominant.
Bottle during RBSG 2014. Dark brown with off-white head. Aromas of bourbon, caramel, dark fruit. Tastes of bourbon, booze, dark fruit, floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Dfonorow (2274) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2014

Etched glass bottle. RBSG. Pours amber brown with off white head. Nose/taste of oak, bourbon, dark fruit, toffee and dark cherry. Full bodied. Frank (4240) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
This poured a very cloudy brown color with very little head. It has a big nose just dominated by bourbon and vanilla. It is very sweet and also very bitter, definitely a barleywine in the American style--as if there could be any doubt a Floyds’ brew would have a ton of hops in it. I like the coconut and raisin notes but it is so heavy as to be really hard to drink even a small taster. Homer321 (5207) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Chill beer thanks to alum. Lots if sticky sweet. Amaze balls. A ton of toffee. Lots if sugar and great. kbudd19 (1022) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 20, 2014

22oz waxed bottle, thanks to thealum for sharing at RBSG. Hazy dark red color. Thin off-white head. Leaves loose bits of lace. Dark fruit, good vanilla, light spice. Nice wood character. Medium to bigger body. Smooth kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate tart spicy taste. Light bit of heat. Solid, woody tannic stuff.
