Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin creamy white head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet grainy malts and grassy hops. The taste is grassy hops, toasted malts. Lingering bitterness. Thin-medium bodied. adrian910ss (2574) - Doylestown, PA, USA - JAN 19, 2010
On draft at DLD 2009. Pours a cloudy orange caramel with a medium off white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and pine. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Allstar (33) - , Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2009 On tap at FFF, I enjoyed this beer. It wasn’t to over bearing like I expect, it was a nice blend and very easy to drink. Had a slight taste of coffee, but not to much. Overall something I would drink again. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 4, 2009
Draft at Three Floyds. Pretty standard cold conditioned beer from FFF. Clean and grainy, light body, touch sweet. Pretty non-descript. I could drink a lot of this, though you’d never know it was a FFF product. Nice. BeerBunker (965) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is of hops, yeast, citrus, grain, and bread. Taste is of light, earthy hops to start. Has a bready malt backbone with a decent amount of grain and spice. Lingering hop and citrus taste. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Finish is very bready. Hell, it was refreshing and drinkable. Not too bad.

On tap at the brewpub: It poured a deep golden body with a sustained off-white head that provided much lace. The aroma was grainy and bready with some grassy hops. Tasted much the same with notes of old honey. Okay. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 21, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Poured clear, lighter orangey-golden with a sticky cap of whitish head. The aroma picked up soft, toasty bread and grainy notes with accents of grassy character and some mis-placed sourness. The flavor had a bready base with lemon zest, grassy bitterness, and a pinch of honey around.. finished with more of the aforementioned sourness and grainy bitterness. Crisp and light-bodied on the palate.. refreshing, but the sourness just didn’t strike a good chord with me. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2009
Imperial pint served draft at the brewpub (Munster, IN). Pours a nice hazy darker gold with some amber notes, moderate offwhite head that laces well. Aromas are pushes some good grain, and a nice mellow sweetness, reminiscent of the kolsch style. Initial is light bodied, crisp, with good light malty sweetness, light honey, grass, and subtle bitterness. Finishes crisp, quenching, but still flavorful with some light lemon. Tasy, and a brew I’d welcome after a good lawn mowing. Cheers! bdigital (658) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 29, 2009
Draft @ DLD 09: Pour was pure gold with a sizeable white head. Nose was very grassy with some earthy/herbal based hop notes. Some pale malt is noticeable...medium bodied. Very clean and crisp, flavor was a bit of toasted malt and some herbal/earthy hops. Nice session brew. Ceebs25 (503) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2009
On tap at DLD ’09. Lighter aroma, good amount of hop as expected with grassy, leafy, and some citrusy hops (definitely not standard 3fs, but their work is still noticeable here). Also, some lager pale malts, and melon. Still very enticing, and gotta give 3fs credit for making a beer of this style so appealing. Not really that special appearance though, but not bad, lighter body with a frothy white head, minor carbonation, golden-orange color. With the taste, I feel this is really as good as a crisp, clean tasting bottom-fermenting beer can be, as there some creaminess to it and the flavors come out very well. Notes of a grassy, 3fs citrus bitter, some lactose sweetness, and basic pils malt and pale malt balance that is nice. One of 3fs more basic selections, but I really can’t complain as it works out pretty well. A nice way to cap off a really great day of drinking.
