Bottle shared from kermis. Pours black with a minimal head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, stewed dark fruits. Lovely spicy chilly burn, not a beer to down, rather slowly enjoy

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is peppers, roast, wood. Medium body, strong heat, peppers, roast, the heat overpowers everything.

Bottle 750ml. @ The Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, TNO(U)DRBSG16 @ fonefan & Brugmasia House.

[ As Three Floyds Cognac Barrel Aged Dark Lord De Muerte ].
[ Red Wax - Bottle 236/817 ]. Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, alcohol, cognac, mild smoke - chili fruity - earthy. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, sharp, alcohol, cognac, chili warm, dark malt, chocolate - roasted, finish is hot chili. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish is light alcoholi and hot chili. For me way to hot chili and unbalanced... [20160820]

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2016 [email protected] Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016 - Black pour with tan head. Roasted malty with a harsh chilli burn, aspects of this I liked, but overall the chilli balance was way too overt even for my chili friendly palate.

omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 20, 2016
Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Black, minimal head. Mild smokey chili and milk chocolate up front. Very sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Vanilla, chocolate and interesting ancho chili heat. Bell pepper, sugar, chili, vanilla and licorice. Severe chili burn in the finish. Chili and alcoholic beverages usually mix badly. Still this beer has lots of upsides. The chili combination is exquisite. Wish I had it in my snack, not in my beer.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and cognac. Flavor is extremely sweet and rather bitter. Extremely sweet finish with heavy alcohol and a devastating chili burn. No thanks. 200816

75cl bottle. Pours almost black, no head. Aroma of dark malt, red fruits, sharp habernero. Taste of dark malt, soy, hot habanero, pepper...

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Black, no head. Smoky chili aroma. Spicy, chili flavour, Rather hot - you still get the flavour underneath, but the (tasty - I’ll admit that) chili quickly masks everything else.

chrisv10 (18495) - DENMARK - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle #236. Black with no head. Aroma is roasted malts, vegetable, chocolate, coffee, wood and coganc. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, chili, burning, pepper, cognac and molasses.

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 20, 2016
12/8/7/8/11/8

Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2016
Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering 2016, Ulfborg, Day 2. Opaque pitch black color, no head. Aroma is ok: malts, sweetness, cognac barrel. Taste is pretty bad, malts, way too alcoholic, way too much chili peppery burn for me, undrinkable imo. Not good.
