Thanks 50belair for this beautiful treat. Pours thick and black with some nice viscosity. Lots of bourbon, vanilla, and chocolate in the nose. It tastes as good as it smells. It’s big, black, and sweet, which is everything I love in a beer.

Thanks for sharing, Peter. Motoroil sprinkled with inconsistent brown head. It smells good. Huge bourbon, buttery vanilla, chocolate ice cream, dark dried cherries, liquor filled chocolates. Fucken hell, this is vulgar. Taste can be described as regular DL blended with vanilla ice cream, a dash of coconut, one whole overripe cherry and a sprinkle of salt. Totally vulgar, but in the end a true guilty pleasure. If Pamela anderson was a craft beer, this beer would be her.

Bottle shared at the RBSG 2012 Grand Tasting. This is incredible. Smells like chocolate and vanilla and molasses with rich bourbon. Flavor is full of vanilla and caramel with -- seriously -- huge candy corn notes. May as well have aged it in a trick-or-treat goodie bag. As someone who likes candy corn, this was awesome.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty bourbon vanilla chocolate aroma. Sweetish roasted malty bourbon chocolate and vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and bourbon vanilla finish.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2013 HUGE thanks to foofaa for sharing this one with us all at ffej of july. Never thought I would get a chance to try this one.

A - Pours pitch black with a nice one finger tall tan head leaving small trails of lace down parts of the glass.

S - Smells of smooth bourbon, coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, molasses, dark malt and a nice vanilla sweetness. The vanilla is a little weak toward the end of the glass, otherwise a very nice nose.

T - Starts off with a perfectly balanced mix of sweet vanilla, warm bourbon and dark roasted chocolate malt. Hints of coffee, dark fruits and molasses follow close behind. Finish has some sweetness and dark roast combining to linger on the palate long after the finish. Booze is extremely well hidden, only really becoming noticeable toward the end of the glass.

M - It is definitely a big beer with plenty of flavor and a moderate amount of carbonation. It is much smoother than I thought it would be.

O - I honestly never thought I would have the chance to try this beer. It takes a very good beer and makes it something amazing. I can only hope to have this again in the future. Thanks again Dan!

2012 bomber shared at the RBSG 2012 Grand Tasting. Deep brown/black, viscous liquid with minimal tan head. Aroma is very sweet with nice notes from the vanilla beans and the bourbon barrel and also some coffee and alcohol. Taste is very sweet and shows a character from the barrel and vanilla. Full bodied. Really nice but a bit too sweet.

Tap @ FWIBF. Pours a pitch black color with a brown head. Aroma is of roasted malt, lot of sweet notes, vanilla, coffee, sweet chocolate, oak, bourbon, dark fruits and some molasses. The flavor follows the nose with lots of sweetness, I get vanilla, oak, bourbon, roasted malt, coffee, sweet and dark chocolate, dark fruits and the molasses and sugary notes. The body is full with a sticky mouth feel. Overall a great BA Imperial Stout!

2012 Bottle: 799 of 934 Eternal gratitude to Shrubber.... Pours black....almost no head....just a dark ring. Scent is velvety....hot bourbon, coconut and vanilla...chocolate. Flavour is sweet, heavy chocolate with a smooth bourbon burn... It’s like being allowed to pet a wild, exotic animal.....it’s warm, it’s intense.....soft and razor-dangerous at the same time. What can I say, but...oh.....wow. Excellent.
