22oz draft at the brewpup. Pours a cloudy brown with a small yellow/tan head. Aromas are sweet toasted malts and some fruit. Flavor is definately a bit of chocolate and banana. A bit sweet. On tap at 3F brewpub. This one tasted pretty close to style for a weizen bock. Sweet and malty-- but not quite to the level of a dopplebock. On tap at the pub. Murky brown liquid with a whispy beige head that was accompanied by a lasting ring of big bubbles around the edge. Soft puffed wheat nose with banana and yeast. There are lots of the traditional banana and clove flavors, but all wrapped in chocolate, Super Sugar Crisp cereal and toffee sweetness. The cloves are joined with nutmeg and cinnimon. It coats the mouth with malt syrup and my lips were sticky. The 7.4% is noticable but not intrusive. Very nice beer. holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2007
On tap @ FFF on DLD. Pours a murky brown with a beige head. Nose is nothing great bannana, carmel, bakers chocolate and yeast. The flavors are the same but a little too sweet too. On tap at 3 floyds. Aroma of chocolate and actually some of the banana metioned in the description. Slight cloudy dark color with a small head. Smooth and very creamy.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy brown with a short offwhite head. Aromas of bannana, clove, chocolate, and some caramel. Flavor is bannana, cloves, chocolate, caramel, and a bit of spice before the finish. Sticky sweet throughout with a smooth finish. Very nice brew! On tap at FFF brewpub. Pours a hazy brown with golden amber highlights and a creamy/bubbluy off white lacing head. Aroma of banana, clove, toasted malts and some chocolate. Flavor of banana, clove Hefe yeast, hints of chocolate, toasted malts, on the dry side with a touch of honey.
