Pour was a copper color with an almost-yellow head. Harshly hopped, invasive to the sinuses, almost acrid, with high amounts of grapefruit, pine and green apple. Heavily bittersweet to start with a stinging, bitter finish amidst light acidity. Honey-smooth with light carbonation. Thoroughly wicked. I’m glad I waited to have this one fresh at the brewery.

(Bottle 65 cl) Nice amber colour with a small, off-white head. Spicy nose. Incredibly delicate hop character, sweetish almost honey-like with loads of caramel. Bitter not only in the finish -all the way through. Delicious. 170705 ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2005

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2006 Summer ’05 release. Packed full of hop aroma even before the initial pour. Pours out a nice copper color with a small fading head. The aroma is mostly of floral hops. The taste is nothing short of amazing, this is one great brew. The balance and smoothness of the hops are amazing for such a beer. Great brew, only wish it was easier to find Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 6, 2005
2004 22oz. bomber. Amber pour with an orange tint to it. Small head quickly receded to form a thin ring around the top. Brilliant aroma with pine and grapefruit from the hops as well as some sweet peaches. Very smooth mouthfeel with a well-balanced medium malt backbone. Hoppy goodness coated the entire mouth! Flavor followed the aroma with the grapefruit and pine, and I also picked up some white pepper and a little caramel. Long pine forest & pepper finish. Magnifique! Awesome beer! Great label! Has a super sweet hop aroma, big bold bitterness, massive mouthfeel, and wonderful lingering aftertaste. Pour me another! Sregnar35 (1032) - Rotterdam, New York, USA - JUL 3, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2005 22oz bottle from Ohiodad, thanks a million Scott! Great hop aroma, and I’ve never had such a creamy IPA. Not as good as ruination I’m very sorry to say, but still extremely great!!!!
