UPDATED: FEB 6, 2012 Bottle at Darkness Day 2011. Pour is yellow/orange with a white head. Spice and banana in nose and flavor. Good beer. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2011
On tap at Three Floyds, pours a hazy yellowish orange with a nice thick white head, the aroma is of heavy spice and banana, the flavor is very crisp and clean with a good amount of clove coming through with the banana and other spices, nicely done brew. This poured a hazy yellow to orange color with a white head. Aroma was lots of lemon zest and coriander, mainly spices and light fruits with some pale malt too. Flavor was much the same, very lemony and bustingly refreshing for a hefe. Really liked this one. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - NOV 15, 2011
On tap @ FFF. Hazy deep yellow with a small white head. Typical Hef aroma of banana, clove with some bready malt. Smooth malty flavor with light tart yeast. Medium body with average carbonation. Nice solid Hef. ekoerper (599) - Iowa, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Aroma: clove and banana, wheat malts. Pours a very hazy golden color, slight tinge of orange, white head with fair retention. Flavor has the expected clove phenolics and faint banana, bready wheat malt, a bit subtle. Body is on the thin side, medium carbonation.

Growler pour. Extremely dense creamy yellow/orange pour, frothy 1/4 inch head and a nice spicy banana nose. Flavor is also slightly creamy, heavy on the banana and cloves and finishes with a little bitter herbs and lemon. Really tasty, but not sure if I’d pay another $24 for a growler of this. gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 25, 2011
On tap at the Brewpub, October 21, 2011.
Hazy yellow with a small white head. This is a descent German Hefeweizen. Aroma and taste of banana, clove, wheat, citrus and some yeast. Not a bad beer for the style.

Enjoyed on tap at 3 Floyds Brewpub in Munster, IN while having a scotch egg & some french fries with good friends. Appearance is like a mimosa, looks like orange juice in a weiss glass. Aroma of pure bananas, sweetness, like one of those Doles pineapple orange juice containers. Taste of hefe yeast, banana notes, not too many spices, tastes more like beer than juice, but still has a juice like quality to it. I like it, just a bit unusual. Poured on draft into a weizen glass. Appearance is a densely hazy straw color with an everlasting head of white foam. Aroma is loads of fresh cut oranges, spices like coriander and cardamom, and loads of bananas and other esters. Taste is just like the aroma. This beer is what I feel every hefeweizen should aim for. This beer is delicious.
