On tap at 3F... A milky dark honey, gold, off white head, good lace... Belgian yeast with lots of grassy hops, good combo... The taste is off from the nose, buttery, soapy, with a chemical grass hop finish, crisp and drinkable, just not in love bobbypaulson (217) - Fergus Falls, Minnesota, USA - JUN 24, 2011
had this on tap at the 3F brewpub a couple days ago. it comes in a tulip glass and is a cloudy yellow color with a nice white head. smell fruity and citrusy and some clove smell. The taste is the same smell with some yeast. The beer isn’t bad but I had some better beers there that day.

12oz tulip at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy, dark gold with a thin, creamy white head. Sweet, malty nose, a little estery, some pepper, green apple, light citrus, a little candy. Flavor is sweet, candy, honey, malts, apples, some lemon, some cracker, grass, dandelions. Medium bodied, dry finish. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Draft. Pour is hazy dark gold with a small white head. Aroma is grass, candy corn, fruity yeast, grain husk, a bit of citrus. Flavor is lightly sweet, grass, fruity. Finish is dry and soft. Tasty.

This beer was really good but I have to say it didn’t stand out much compared to some of the others. Kind of got lost in the mix for me. Hoppy and well balanced. High IBU’s without the distinct and overpowering bitterness. Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Draft sample. Poured hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus and bubblegum aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Very interesting beer.

On tap at the brewpub.
Aroma: Lots of clove and yeast. Pinneaples and tropical fruits saved this one.
Appearance: Yellow-orange pour, nice foamy ring.
Flavors: Very fruity (mandarine and orange), citrus hops. The yeast is not too present unlike the aroma would suggest.
Palate: Light carbonation and full body.
Overall: Quite good.

Sort of a Belgian IPA sort of thing. Mine looks like a glass of yeast but I’ll blame that on the bar--default three on appearance. Very fruity hop character with a hint of ;elgian yeast. Real good. dumontn (530) - St. Joseph, Michigan, USA - SEP 3, 2011
Appearance is hazy orangish gold with 2 finger head and good retention. Aroma is spicy yeast, honey, citrus hops. Taste is well balanced between spicy Belgian yeast character and a hoppy American pale ale character, just like the smell. Body is medium, lightly frothy, above average carbonation, dry-ish, has a bitter spicy finish. Overall, good but not great. I love 3F but Ommegang’s BPA has this one beat by a long shot.
