Aroma is pine, taste is pine, resin, not what I expected, but still worth it.

Aroma is citrus/fruit, sweet grapefruit and spices. The flavor is citrus/fruit, mild pine/spices, sweet grapefruit and a mix of bitter and slight heat/alcohol in the finish.

Very malty with a hop bite. Nice standard traditional hop aroma. Overall nothings really interesting. Thin head that fades. Probably 2 month old bottle.

Not a bad IPA, but too bitter. Aroma’s quite mild, a little hops and malt. Flavor’s like nose, sweet up front with a long bitter finish. Bitterness is a little heavy on the palate.

Nice lemon in the nose. But didnt hold up through the flavor. Decent west coast ipa.

22 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, drunk at cellar temp or a little higher from a pint glass. Bright medium amber, faintly cloudy, thick waft of slightly off-white foam is quite stable, thick lacing...some interesting perfumy qualities in the nose initially, though a more typical resinous/loamy character takes over pretty quickly; light sweetness, very little in the way of citrus or fruity notes...the body is moderately sweet, lightly bitter initially and becoming strongly bitter at the finish, a bit sticky-juicy but drying out significantly towards the finish; hints of caramelization and I think a little vanilla, but its never too sweet really, maintaining a fairly solid balance throughout. At the very finish theres a liight spicy (cinnamon?) note that gives extra interest. Doesnt really taste its strength - Id have pegged it at 6-6.5%. An interesting, solid effort which I suspect Ill never get to try again - but Ill be looking for the others in this series.

Bottle. Orange caramel malt, sour milk, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy amber with moderate off-white head. Moderately sweet orange, lime, caramel malt, and moderately bitter dry grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Okay body. Good - straight forward.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very hazy medium gold with a lasting white head. Interesting, beguiling herbal/vegetal notes with white grapefruit. Hard to characterize, but still tasty! I’d like to have this again when I haven’t already drenched my palate...

Draft pour on tap at Binnys South Loop Taproom (Chicago, IL). lemony nose, standard golden amber hue. Decent bitter slant, earthy, floral, a touch of grapefruit and Orange. Fuzzy bitter backend, floral and pine.
