Tap at FFF. Tulip. Murky unfiltered orange-red body. Pink-red tinged beige head. Mellow strawberry aroma. Really odd flavors. Like you put strawberry juice into an off Belgian. Really weak for FFF, despite the ample strawberry tone. Meh. earthy offness.

Draft: Dark, cloudy, purple-pink with a slightly pinked head. Aroma is sweet...berry.... Raspberry/strawberry malt flavours....oily, almost petroleum-like bitter.... Nice scent...but over-driven sweetness..... Clingy and harsh.

Draft at DLD 15. Berry, orange, light yeast, and malt aroma. Reddish-copper color with moderate head. Extremely sweet berry, yeasty malt, and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Smells great but sweetness overpowering and not very pleasant.

A pinkish burgundy ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity strawberry jam with light acidity, nice fresh fruit, delicious. In mouth, nice strawberry jam with light acidity, fruity esters, light Brett, very nice. On tap at Dark Lord Day 2015.

Pour on tap at the brewpub, hazy reddish pink pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of bread, dough, vanilla, some white fruit into a sweet strawberry, fleshy type note with a hint of tart lemon. Taste was a mix of lemon, bread, biscuit, lots of strawberry, tart lemon, hints of earth into a bit of white fruit, finishing slightly sweet, slightly tart.

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy red orange. Aroma of crushed strawberries and estery yeast. Seedy strawberry fruit, tannic leathery notes, very dry. Surprisingly elegant and complex.

Pretty nice. It’s sweet, fruity, and a good balance to their higher hops, higher alcohol offerings. It’s clean and a little tart.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2015
Draft on tap at the brewpub (Munster, IN). A lot of new stuff since my last stop by. Pours a deeper pinkish hibiscus hue, decent hazy body shows some muddled glow and colors in this light. Frothy whitish head dissipates to a smaller ringer, mellow lacing. Aromas present gentle fruity life, seedy strawberry, gentle bready malts and straw. touches of genuine fruit, nothing artificial here with some refreshing agua fresca, earthiness and gentle cereal malt. Initial is similar, a lighter body with some decent seedy strawberry, a touch watery and mellow with gentle bready and cereal malts, touches of earth, decent carbonation a bit effervescent on the palate. Touches of sweetness taper out to a gentle tangy tart backend, touches of dry cereal malts. Solid, certainly different than you expect from FFF. Enjoyable nose, muddled pour, solid beer if a bit unexpected.
