This is a great beer, I had a bottle but, overall the beer taste FRESH. a great hop smell and the taste was the perfect ballence of hope and malt. I must say for a wheat beer i was surprized at the flavor, I expected something a little more sweet, but maybe it was the Red wheat? i do not know? what ever it was the beer is an awsome smooth drininking well balenced beer. glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 25, 2006
Citrus hop aroma is incredible. Nice subtle malt and the hops really come through. Perfect balance of hops and a little sweetness. Great for a 90 degree day. Lovely. NewCastle1 (59) - Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2006
Bottle. Pours a very pretty golden wheat color. Small whitish head, with little lacing. Aroma is of strong citrus. Grapefruit is the main thing I can smell. maybe a touch of wheat and pine. First mouthfull was a bit thin in my opinion. Very lemony and grapefruity in the taste. Very little in the wheat flavoring of this brew. A little to overpowering with the citrus and hops in my opinion. Still a good beer though. WisconsinBeer (716) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - JUN 23, 2006
This is an interesting beer because it does not resemble most of the wheat beers out there. The wheat charachter only seems to come through a little bit at the end. The malts are soft and candy sugary. For a wheat beer there is a surprising amount of hops which come across as citric and slightly astringent. The citric flavors add a nice almost lemony touch to the finish. This beer goes down smooth, smooth, smooth and is pretty solid, although it does not show alot of wheat character. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 23, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-orange with a small diminishing white head. Big citrus hops aroma along with some malt, spices and some sugary sweetness -- but mostly hops! Very refreshing flavour of citrus hops (not as hoppy as the aroma suggests though), wheat, sweet malt, fruit and a light spicy bitter finish -- this goes down crazy easy! Medium bodied. For my tastes, this is one of the best Wheat beers I’ve ever had, I could easily (and gladly!) pound back several of these.

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Golden and almost clear. Small head that quickly subsides and leaves the beer with only a thin layer of head. What little is there actually does cling to the glass. Lemony sweet hoppy aromas. Clearly a very hoppy wheat beer. Flavours are dominated by the hops. Light bodied, but holds some malts that struggle to stand up against the hop domination. Some sourish notes that help make this a very refreshing beer. Finishes slightly bitter with a dry mouthfeel. HogTownHarry (6872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2006 Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, my bottle. Poured hazy orange with a small diminishing creamy off-white head. Aroma of tangerines, sweet resiny and perfumy hops, sweet toasty malt, rosehipskool-aid and yeast - very sweet, very robust - a wheat beer on HGH? Taste - good Lord that’s nice - perfectly balanced between smooth sweet malt, mild hops and fresh grain - SESSION. Solid almost chewy body, lightly astringent and carbonated, longish juicy slightly bitter finish. Truly stunning beer, I’m a big fan of this one. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2006
Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, courtesy of Harry. Dark yellow, decent sized white head. Tons of orange citrus, sugar, malt, and spice – wow, there are a lot of hops in here. Medium mouthfeel. Stunningly hoppy wheat taste, still lots of citrus (but not as much as aroma suggests) and a very peppery / bitter finish. Very refreshing, and at this alcohol, probably the most accessible (for hop heads anyway) 3 Floyds yet. Really good. Oycpff (93) - USA - JUN 18, 2006
Bottle: good nose, I get a citrus pine combo, more orange on the nose. orange yellow color. small head. well carbonated though. sweet bitter flavors. orange and grapefruit. bitter finish, thinner body. Very tasty. Different than any wheat I’ve had before. was much closer to an IPA. RagallachMC (631) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2006
bomber. Aroma: Citrus, cinnamon, and a hint of pine. Appearance: light golden color with the slightest haze. Large off-white head. Flavor: First flavor is grapefruit, followed by a solid hop flavor from the dry-hopping, followed by a strong wheat flavor, and then the bitterness kicks in. Bitterness is refreshing and not to overdone. Very drinkable. Also picking up flavors of pineapple, toffee, and leather. Palate: Good carbonation that lends to the refreshing nature of the beer. Overall: A very good and easy to drink beer. The hoppiness might catch an unaware drinker off guard, but I found it to be very well balanced.
