More hops than anticipated in this nice wheat beer. Medium bodied, hazy, moderate sweet malty character followed by a nice and significant hop finish. Sl Lemony finish. jackson220 (136) - new lenox, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2005
Slightly hazy, dark gold. Small white head. Good lace. Big, fresh, hoppy aroma. Medium, slightly grainy feel. Big, hoppy flavour of pine & citrus w/ some very faint wheaty undertones. Wheat Beer? I would have guessed an IPA. Hop city...but i liked it : )

Pours clear golden with a nice white head. Aroma is piney, citrusy hops with notes of fruit underneath. Flavor is grapefruit with some caramel and bananas. Nice session brew. ElBorracho (472) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2005
Bomber. Plenty of citrus and pine on the nose. Grapefruit and other citrus notes come through in the taste as well as plenty of hops. Compared to other 3F brews it comes off a tad unbalanced, but that may be getting really picky. A very fine brew. walter (359) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2005
22oz Bottle. Hazy yellowish orange with big white head. Big citrusy hop nose with some sweet malt in the background. Big citrusy hop flavor with some sweet wheat malt in the background. Rich, but light, a really fantastic and quenching brew. Bright crisp finish. A nice celebration of the hop. I absolutely love this stuff! As for some of the pricing comments, I can’t exactly remember but it seems like I’ve never paid more than $4 in these parts.

22 oz bomber-pours a thick, rich offwhite head that laces and becomes rocky. Color is yellow-gold. Aroma is sweet grapefruit. Taste is sweet grapefruit, lemon, crisp, refreshing and in the background-the wheat peeks through. I would compare this to some beers that are $6-$9/6pk of 12 oz bottles, at $7 for what is just short of 2-12 oz bottles, it’s pricey. After writing this I read some other ratings, it was reassuring to see others comment on the overpricing. clifford0163 (93) - Maryland, USA - OCT 22, 2005
has some nice citurs flavors to it andis very smooth. it has a nice cloudy gold color to it. but it is a little overpriced. xproudfoot (750) - Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2005
Tasty, good times. Hoppy for a wheat. Perk without bite. fresh forest, garden, hint of sticky dessert. can8ianben (1576) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 12, 2005
Great. Well crafted, makes me feel like a nice smooth IPA. Great hoppy touches, good malt backbone, not to ballsy. Somewhat thin foamy head that is gone in a jiffy, amber colour, great smooth finishing pine/citrus flavour, money well spent. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - OCT 12, 2005
Great citrus aroma just like standing next to a citrus tree and taking a good whiff. Light amber color body with a decent head that left some lacing to it. Flavor had a hoppy citrus aroma and a nice taste of lemons on the palate the was acidic. Good brew and again I had to drink the bommer by myself because the others didn’t want to try something new or just like that common swill. I shouldn’t complain and I don’t.
