On tap at a taco joint while visiting the midwest. Dinner with my Uncle for this one. The wheat added nice roundness. I love amarillo when I brew, so i loved this beer! randy1969 (64) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - AUG 1, 2017

Straw-colored pour with dense fluffy white head. Very effervescent. Smells of tangerine, mild grapefruit, lemon zest, wheat and honey as it warms, all riding on an earthy backdrop. Light and playful under the nose and a pleasure to the nares. Tastes presents wheat, lemon zest, mild grapefruit. Floral notes present midway and ends with a biscuit/bread tone. The mouthfeel is medium with a sort of grainy character, but smooth overall. The finish presents a long-drawn, extremely mild bitterness. A pleasure, overall. Would enjoy again.

Tap. Pours clear orange. Nose is citrus, orange, apricot, Peach, hints of banana. Palate is banana with a strong American pale ale oomph to it. Some grains that interfere. Great, but I don’t get the style. superspak (5787) - Michigan, USA - JUL 4, 2017
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/19/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an incredible American pale wheat ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the lightly bitter/drying finish. Awesome hop juiciness and vibrancy, with great malt balance. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. SG111 (1927) - New York, USA - JUL 3, 2017

Appearance: Deep amber. Hazy. Finger of off white small bubbles.
Nose: light wheat aroma, bits of lemon and floral hops. Lightly roasted malt
Taste: lighter roasted malts, lightly sweet. Lemon zest with a touch of floral. Light on the bitter.
Body: medium and fluid. Soft carbonation
Parting thoughts: completely unexpected. Read wheat beer. expected wheat beer. apparently there is a 2nd bottle conditioned fermentation in this beer that takes it from a typical wheat into the realm of something closer to a Belgian style. Different and very interesting.
