3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap MAH. - Lemony yellow with a brief white head. Aroma of grapefruit and peach with floral notes. Does something unusual on the tongue - does a sort of backflip, starting with a quick initial resin-citrus profile, then almost vanishes before it’s replaced by a more floral-citrus then fades into a clean lingering hop finish. Moderate body, refreshing. Overall very entertaining.
No shit, all shinola! I drank this bitch down faster than I would like to admit! I usually stay away from The Floyds because the price tag is so damned High! But I have got to hand it to those bastards, this is one tasty f****** Brew! FinnIckler (479) - GERMANY - JUL 9, 2017
Tap. Pours clear orange. Nose is citrus, orange, apricot, Peach, hints of banana. Palate is banana with a strong American pale ale oomph to it. Some grains that interfere. Great, but I don’t get the style. superspak (5594) - Michigan, USA - JUL 4, 2017
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/19/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an incredible American pale wheat ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the lightly bitter/drying finish. Awesome hop juiciness and vibrancy, with great malt balance. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. SG111 (1821) - New York, USA - JUL 3, 2017
Bottled 05/23/17. Pours clear golden, white head. Aroma is grapefruit, wheat, lemon, little ester, little clove, little hop presence. Solid. Flavor is wheat, lemon, orange rind, really solid. Panzuriel (2256) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Appearance: Deep amber. Hazy. Finger of off white small bubbles.
Nose: light wheat aroma, bits of lemon and floral hops. Lightly roasted malt
Taste: lighter roasted malts, lightly sweet. Lemon zest with a touch of floral. Light on the bitter.
Body: medium and fluid. Soft carbonation
Parting thoughts: completely unexpected. Read wheat beer. expected wheat beer. apparently there is a 2nd bottle conditioned fermentation in this beer that takes it from a typical wheat into the realm of something closer to a Belgian style. Different and very interesting.

My favorite beer! Less wheaty and more like a light IPA in my opinion! Wish it was sold nationwide! Ronritter (729) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUN 2, 2017

An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. I had this at Dicks Last Resort. Pours gold with a white head. Taste wheat, slight hop, grass. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.
