COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. UPDATED: NOV 30, 2014 Pours a clear light golden yellow with a big fluffy white head and excellent lacing. Light aroma of citrus, mild mango and some pine from the hops, with a hint of malt and wheat. Taste has citrus hop flavor that hints at tropical, some pine and pale malt and wheat. Medium mouthfeel with medium/high carbonation. Liked this beer much more than the first time I had it in 2013. Still sort of straight forward and simple but seemed more flavorful this time. ---Jeremy H

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice straw yellow with two finger head. Aroma is pine, mango, and earthy. Taste is barnyard due to the wheat with a nice light tropical fruit from the hops. Moderate bitterness and dryness on the end. Mouthfeel could be creamier, light bodied. Overall a solid hoppy wheat beer that is always enjoyable.

Thanks Gregg. Nice stuff. Sweetness and citrus, bubblegum, nice graininess behind it. Good stuff.

12 ounce bottle. Lightly hopped grapefruit smells. Foamy, hazy, and medium straw in color. For a wheat beer this does have some slight hops flavors to this brew. Pretty smooth. Overall, unique beer with higher hops.

Bottle at Craftheads in Tokyo. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Citrus hops, coriander, orange peel and grapefruit. Bold and flavourful. Crisp finish. Devine.

Thanks to my GF for bringing these back from her Indianapolis trip. Pours an unfiltered golden colour with a smaller white cap and some creamy-foamy lacing. Pilsner-like nose at first, with some fresh mild hops coming out, giving citrus notes. Wheat based taste with the hops slightly taking over with grassiness. A refreshing wheat beer for those who like it hoppier.

A guy at the market recommended this to me against my best judgment. I love IPAs and a Wheat Beer disguised as an IPA, didnt make sense. I tried it and loved it. Unlike IPAs that can be overbearing after a couple, you can drink several of these beers without any issues. Amarillo hops work extremely well with this brew!

On tap. Pours a hazy gold Amber with modwrstechead. Aromas of candied fruit and wheat malts. Flavors of tropical fruit leaning towards pineapple and melons, with light jammy stoned fruit and toast. Fuzzy - well carbonated. Super.

Pint Night at Pazzos. Aroma was hops with some yeast and lemon. Taste was a nice mix of sweet and bitter. A good blend of wheat and IPA.

Very nice wheat beer with a hop profile to it. Exactly like the other review like an IPA made love with a wheat beer and this is the offspring.
