Bottle... Pours hazy and orange with amber highlights and a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. Aromatic highlights include juicy, ripe melons, tropical fruits and stone fruits, accompanied by a suggestion of muskiness. Full-bodied with adequate carbonation. Parallel to the nose, the flavor presents a medley of juicy, ripe, tropical fruits, fuzzy fruits, and citrus fruit rinds and piths. Finishes fruity and bittersweet. Bottle courtesy of ctipping. Thanks Collin! haukur (2144) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - JUL 12, 2015
Tropical fruit heavy nose with dank. Nice malty notes, long bitter finish. Good showcase of the Mosaic hop. ebone1988 (2301) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is dank as fuck, tropical fruit, floral, really nice. Appearance is very dark, has a very red/amber appearance. Taste is dank, lots of malt, then tropical fruit and pine, a nice sweet aftertaste. Mouthfeel is great, great carbonation, a nice coating flavor and all around good. Overall, it’s a weird color for an IPA but is definitely good. koleminer20 (4267) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2015
22 oz bomber shared with ebone1988. The pour is surprisingly dark red. This is something I'd expect for an amber or what looks like Red's Rye. The aroma is really dank. There is a strong tropical fruit and malt backbone. The dank hops are really prevalent and help highlight the fruitiness. The flavor is way maltier than I was expecting and/or wanting. The dank hops kind of subside and it's got a light fruit throughout. The mouth feel is great. Creamy and nicely carbonated to just coat and hang on the mouth. The aftertaste is lingeringly soft tropical fruits and bitter dank hops. I wanted so much more from this.

Draught sample @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Pours hazy golden with a rather small offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with caramel, bread, grapefruit, overripe tropical fruits, moist grass, pine needles, resin and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, slightly malty and fruity with caramel, bread, grapefruit, overripe fruits, moist grass, resin, cardboard and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, round, astringent, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, grapefruit, overripe tropical fruits, grass, pine, resin, cardboard and lemon zest. Old IPA... Glad I didn’t have to pay the ~$8 they charged for a small glass. I’m sure it’s good fresh...

Rich amber/cider color; Medium slightly creamy/oily body; Aroma of pine hops, floral, & citrus/fruit; Flavor of malt, pine hops, fruit, some caramel, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is fairly bitter; Nicely balanced; Good IPA. edwardbass (866) - Illinois, USA - APR 17, 2015
Hmm...I’m not as enthralled with this as others for some reason. Perhaps what I ate/drank before? Can’t be "old", I live in Chicago. Aroma is mild pineapple. Taste is orange rind, a little tropical fruit, lemon sourness and some mild caramel sweetness. The bitter rind aftertaste stays around a long time. Not bad, but not a high-90 beer for me. Cool to try a FFF/Half Acre collaboration though. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 9, 2015

Bomber shared with pals at club wakonda.. reddish pour with thin white head. .Hoppy caramel umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2015
Bottle thanks to mikem409. Hazy copper pour with a small foamy head that fades to a ring. Aroma is big dank hops, big pineapple, candied oranges, and sugary, gummy fruit slices. Tastes only slightly sweet which then changes to a moderate bitterness in the finish. Lots of pineapple and citrus. Some toffee and caramel. Very nice red IPA.
