Brewed with our friends at Half Acre, Anicca IPA is single hopped snake juice showcasing the Mosaic hop, a plant throwing off a cornucopia of fruit flavors. Bitter sweet and full of force, this IPA bends your brain into a tropical storm of writhing glory.

Admin Note: Please be aware that Half Acre also has a version of this beer brewed at their own brewery. All Three Floyds ratings go here.

Bottle. Tangerine/peach malt, grapefruit peel, and cedar aroma. Cloudy amber with moderate head. Sweet orange/peach malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Good - pretty standard 3F IPA.

This beer is right in my wheelhouse. Hoppy, but not over the top with a milder malt bill. Even a novice can smell the grapefruit in this one. Three Floyds always delivers the best in quality.

22oz bottle pours a hazy amber orange with an off white head. Mango pineapple and orange taste.

Patrickctenchi (6750) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 11, 2015
Slightly hazed, darker amber with a creamy beige head.
Orange-peel, sweet nectar aroma.
Flavour is rich, sweet fruit....orange...pink grapefruit.....cola.
Strong carbonation, tingly body.
Mild fruit bittering.

Deep ruby-orange, lots of carbonation, thick head. Smell is candied citrus, grass, tropical fruit. Taste is fresh and bittersweet, citrus peel accents. Dry, almost chalky finish.

Pours a hazy, glowing amber-orange with a thinner khaki head that settles to a thicker ring/film and leaves some delicate spotty soapy lace. Nose involves plenty of citrus and tropical fruit, notably pineapple, along with some Hawaiian Punch, some of that hearty doughy Floyds yeast but not an obnoxious amount, some savory spice, almost like a sweet barbecue sauce, and some herbal minty tea. Somewhat sweet, a bit tart, quite bitter. Light to medium bodied, somewhat oily, somewhat watery, crisp, with a long herbal fruity clean bitter finish. Pretty good, drinkable, goes easy on the bitterness, kind of a session-ized imperial, which I guess makes it a regular old IPA.

Dark bronze pour, super fresh hops in the aroma. Taste is very fresh, tropical fruit, pine, citrus, nice bitterness.

Very clean finish, very much hops forward, but less than other three floyds like Berzerker. It's a delicious, easy drinking beer. I didn't get any malty ipa in the back end. Clean, crisp, and tart. I'll definitely buy again if I can find it again.

Excellent tag-team with Half Acre. Hops get you right from the start. Smooth as can be!

De belle effluves aromatiques d’agrumes sucrés et de poivre sur une base maltée très biscuit. La résine est un résident bien enraciné qui donne une poussée vers l’amertume tendre. Belle et efficace bière de soif avec juste assez de complexité.
