Pours almost black in color with a finger of tan head. Smells rather salty. Nice roasted malt, a hint of chocolate, and dark fruit. The flavor has just a hint of bitterness. Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roastiness, coffee and saltiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Bottle. Poured black color with an average brown frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted dark chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark chocloate bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good beer.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with dark biege head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, fudge, toffee, cocoa and light coffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. All of the aroma aspects come out in the palate with raisins, overripe red fruit and oyster saltiness on the side. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours black with a creamy tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice light coffee and roasted malt note with a hint of creaminess. Flavor begins with roasted malts and mellows in to a creamy slightly sweet chocolate note.
