Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, rye, meat, smoke. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. Minerals. Mild citrus. A little lacto. Mellow smoke. Pretty well joined up. Mildly crisp finish. Decent.
On tap. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet fruity nose with a very subtle whiff of smoke. Medium body, the fruitiness has now turned dry and subtle while the smoke flavour wise kicks in pretty late. Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, white foam head. Modest to big smoke aroma with honey-cured ham accents. Medium to strong sweet flavor with great honey ham character, light smoke, just lots of caramel, honey and baked ham. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Moderately sticky to finish with plenty more honey ham, caramel, and restrained smoke. Great honey ham, cured meat smoke beer.
