My first 3F Belgian, and I found it tasty. It was everything I expected after reading the description. tasted some nice clovey bananas, as well as American character. Nice. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2007
draft at 3F....nice appearance: deep, muddled apricot-like color with a think white head....aroma was citrussy for the most part....taste was very citrusy and refreshing. a lot of grapefruit and a little pine added to boot. it had a nice balance of yeast as well and had a slightly bitter finish in the end. Draft tulip at Floyds. Puffy Belgian head, which is starting to leave a lot of lace behinf already. Pils colored, but again with a bit of haze. Smell still shows the usual Floyds hop slap and a touch of yeast. Taste is hoppy at first, then firms up in citrus hops that slide in some citrus from the Belgian malt and yeast. Good Belgian pale ale taste, maybe thrown off style by Floyds addicition of alphas, but that’s to the advantage of us beer geeks. adrian910ss (2575) - Doylestown, PA, USA - AUG 16, 2010
On draft at the brewpub during DLD 09. Pours a caramel orange with a medium sized white head. Aroma of bananas, cloves and hops. Taste is much the same as the aroma. OhioDad (2492) - Hilliard, Ohio, USA - APR 29, 2007
On tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a short white head. Aromas of orange, and a little spice, some yeast, and lots of fruity pear notes. Flavor is fruity with some orange and apricot there yeast, and some spice. Crisp and clean on the palate. This was pretty tasty.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden amber coloured with a medium sized head. Nice balanced although a bit too sweet for me. Notes of malt, hops, spices, cloves, banana, citrus and candied sugar. holdenn (2116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Poured a hazed orange yellow with a white head. Nose with tons of Belgian yeast, dough, spice, sugar, and citrus. Similar flavors that showcase the Belgian yeast, sugars, and spice. The citrus and doughy malts back those dominate notes up with some hints of floral hops. Super sweet and tough to drink. This is badly in need of more hops to balance out all of that sweetness. I thought I had tried this before and enjoyed, but I remember the hops being more dominate. This is tough to finish. In fact, I couldn’t. sliffy (2040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 29, 2007
On tap @ Three Floyd’s: Pours orange gold with a white head. Aroma, yeasty, citrus, lemon, pale malts. Flavor, bready, some banana, lemon, pale malts, and some yeasty notes. Interesting. RAYBOY01 (2011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2007
Pretty coppery pour. Presents a spicy/yeasty nose...fruity and pungent. The flavors are sweet roasted malts, light Belgian spiciness, fruity yeast and fairly robust herbal/earthy hop bite. Pretty interesting. tjthresh (1873) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - APR 9, 2007
On tap at the brewpub. Amber with a sticky white head. Light refreshing aroma with some orange, floral and spice aromas. Really nice Belgian spicey yeast character. Clean bitterness. Light palate. A really nice beer to drink. Loved it.
