Aroma of yeast, some citrus. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, yeasty sweetness, end there is some spice.

Drank at Three Floyd’s Brewing Company during the 2007 Dark Lord Day: Toward the end of a long day... it showed mainly hops but had some malt that balanced it out and added a touch of sweetness. While quite nice, I prefer the other "hoppy" beers from FFF.

Draft. Clear golden colour. Very very dry with citrusy hops. No Belgian character that I could find. Its a good dry IPA, but fails as a Belgian.

On tap at Small Bar Logan Square. Yeasty, big hopped Belgo-American Pale Ale. Tropical fruit and grapefruit on the front end. Lasting bitterness on the finish.

Tulip at FFF. Poured a hazy yellow-amber with a towering foam head which left behind lovely Belgian lacing. Aroma was bright hops and bread dough. Taste exhibited the typical spiciness for the style, but with a stronger citrus hop bite. Seemed a little undercarbonated, but otherwise a very nice effort.

on tap at the fff brewpub. Pours a murky orange with a nice white head. the aroma is yeasty and floral hoppiness. the taste is sweet and sugary with a nice bitter hoppy finish.

On tap at brewpub. The hops give it a nice taste as compared to the typical Belgian. Nothing too crazy here- actually pretty close to style other than the aggressive hops.

foundmd (210) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2009
On tap at Three Floyds Brew Pub. Hazy orange with a white lacing head. Refreshing aroma of citrus hops and Belgian yeast. Taste of balanced hops with a touch of candy sugar, fruit, and spice. Light on the palate with a bitter finish. A nice beer, and different for the style.

Wonderful beer. Just a nice easy drinking pale. Right mix of hops, citrus and carbonation. Well done.

One of the best Belgian American beers I've had. Awesome. Nice subtle hop aroma and a crisp dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
