@basunen: trevlig humleton samt en touch av lakrits. Smaken är mycket humlerik och len. Fin balans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma consists of grapefruit, licorice, roasted malts, pineapple, and rye. Of all of these impressions, I find the citrus and licorice being dominant. The taste, especially early, comes across as being more malty, being a mixture of roasted and earthy. Citrus grapefruit is still very noticeable, as well as licorice. Aftertaste loses much of the maltiness and is strong in the citrus and licorice, and lasts awhile. Medium in body, with a slightly sticky, yet slick texture. Average carbonation. This has the feel of a Three Floyds beer. Its very enjoyable.

Poured from a bomber to a pint glass. Thick, sweet, and tight head over a cola colored beer. The aroma was piney and a bit floral. The flavor for me was a semi-sweet malt character. The beer seemed well balanced, but not for a DIPA. If you go in expecting a really interesting hop character of an IPA, youll be disappointed. If you go in expecting a well balanced black ale, youll be happy. I rated it highly because I dont care much about style as long as I enjoy drinking it, and I enjoyed this bottle very much. As others have said, though, its far more easy drinking than it is a really interesting and unique beer. But boy is it easy to drink!

22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a cola brown color with a medium plus sized off white/beige head. The aroma is citrus and resiny hops, mild roasted malt, caramel and a hint of spicy hops. The flavor is more roasted malts, citrus and resiny hops, caramel, toffee with some spicy rye like notes.

Nice pine and a bit of resin among with a bit of roast. Moderate bitterness. Faint coffee and a really nice mouthfeel. Easy drinking.
