This is a pretty intense beer as the name suggests. It pours a very dark murky brown black with a small white head and some effervescence. It smells like a Belgian beer with a lot of hops and the perfect amount of sweet malts. It tastes a little belgiany, maybe some sweet caramel malts balanced beautifully with some hops. It’s not as bitter as I’d expect from an IPA. Overall this is a grand beer and I’d love to get it again.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is floral hop and pine. Medium mouth, roast, bitter hop bite, pine and lingering bitterness, very good. Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2015

Bottle thanks to Rouhlas for sharing! Pours dark brown almost black with a thin beige head. Aroma of hops some fruit and dark malt. As the beer gets warmer I start to discover more taste... Hoppy bitternes and fruity taste involved with coffee and dark roasted malt. Realy complex beer that you can enjoy in warm temperature. Bittersweat aftertaste with nice carbonation for the style.
