Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Opaque dark red - brown beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Palate starts soft but turns crisper. Semi dry. The dark malt is quite light but makes it’s presence known by a whisper of coffee and very light roast. Big piney hops, mildly bitter. Light citrus. Bitter floral note and a touch of fresh orange. Dry finish with a good piney bitter linger. Fab!
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear dark brown with a creamy, beige head. The hops in the nose are a little....agressive and herbal, more than fresh and cleansing. Medium body, subtle roast, very herbal and perfumy hops leading to a bitter finish. 270413 Leighton (21876) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2013

Medium sweet flavor, some chalky cocoa, good roast, earth, bitter grapefruit and orange rind, toast. Medium bodied with fine to average, creamy carbonation. Roasty finish, bitter earth, more citrus rind, burnt wood, dark pine. Pretty decent. Rasmus40 (21474) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2013
