Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2011
On draught at Brews Cafe. Slightly hazy gold pour with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of herbal hops, bready malt and touches of grain. The finish is dry and mildly hoppy at first with a sweet malt aftertaste. Decent Pils overall.

gyllenbock (9166) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 25, 2011
On tap at the Brewpub, October 21, 2011. Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. This was a nice Pilsener, quite a lot of hops both in the aroma and taste. Also notes of bread, citrus and spices. The mouth feel was clean and the finish was dry.

Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Pours golden color with white head. Sweet floral aroma. Taste is crisp and bitter. More flavor than a normal pils.

JStax (6482) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Poured on draft into an imperial pint glass. Appearance is a slightly hazy yellow with a nice head of white foam. Aroma is light hops and a slightly grainy note. Taste is light hops and an even lighter malt presence. This would be a good session beer.

crossovert (12927) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2011
On tap. This is the brewery that I would least expect a good lager from. It is over-hopped, but all in all for an american light lager it is pretty good.

Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Very crisp clean pils. Aroma and taste are what you would expect from a quality pilsner. Makes me almost want to go mow the lawn.

bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - OCT 15, 2011
A good summer brew, for sure. This pours golden straw into the glass, with a decent sudsy head that reduces to a small ring of suds, leaving light soapy lace. The nose is of hay, grain and hop flowers. Clean pils malt flavors backed with a stout bitter back. The finish is a lingering peppery hop. The body is medium, with a active mouthfeel. Decent pils... and that’s saying something from me, as this is a style I generally do not enjoy.

Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 15, 2011
the cleanest neatest drink in the sun pilsner out there. I’m pretty excited about these talented craft brewers just owning traditional styles. Very clean finish with an even hop bite and plisner malt flavor. too bad its $12 a 6 pack haha.

Appearance: Slightly hazy yellow with a big white head
Aroma: Pilsner malts, honey and bready
Taste: Malts, grainy and wheat
Decent

ryecatcher (1436) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2011
Nice golden pale straw color, clean finish and relative creaminess in the mouth. All in all, not a bad Pilsner, but while I like Pilsners, even if it is Three Floyd’s, it’s wayyyy overpriced at $11.99 for what an essentially basic style.
