4/20/12. Imperial pint at FFF. Filtered amber-tan color. Steady foamy off-white head. Toasty malt and UK hops. Perfectly to style, but amped up USish. Not sticky or overly sweet, maintains a true English ESB character. Smooth easy malt tones, spiced citrus hops. Well executed, great beer. railcat1 (706) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2012
On tap when i was in town in April, this was a different type for me,not my style but not bad either. This pours a amber color with a white head. Nice citric hop aroma and floral flavors. The taste is much the same, very nicely hoppy and crisp, citric along with the strong malt character, overall not bad and would try again.CHEERS! On tap at the source... Pours a somewhat hazy earthy amber hue andtopped with a creamy barely off white head... Aroma of citrusy hops upfront, slightly bready.... Citrusy hopped, a bit earthy, tea accents and backed with a medium degree if toasty malt. Finishes with a light level of bitterness. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep golden amber with a small white head. Nice crisp citric hop aroma with a balanced sweet cake and caramel balance, a hint of floral. Flavor is much the same, very nicely hoppy and crisp, citric along with the strong malt character. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice beer deyholla (12588) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of light fruit and slight citrus with a sweet hay backing. Flavor has a combination of citrus and sweet fruit and a strong sweet grain backbone, HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Draft at the brewpub. Reddish copper pour with a thick white head on top. This beer got me thinking about that Kanye/Jay-Z song "No Church In the Wild". "Human beings in a mob/ What’s a mob to a king? What’s a king to a God? What’s a God to a non-believer." Lawless. Fitting for a brewery that has made it’s name off being unconventional. BIg, sweet, fruity aroma with a bit of tang. Nice, rich toffee and caramel malts, red velvet cake as well. More of a cousin to Aotera. Pretty great to sip, with the interesting hop profile and strong malt backing. Good beer. Marheb (6334) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
À la pompe au pub: Vineux, floral, végétal avec des notes d’agrumes et un bon support malté. Très facile à boire. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 19, 2012
Draft on tap at the brewpub after an errand in the area (Munster, IN). Exciting new ESB w/ New Zealand hop. Cool. Pours a rich copper hue, deep glow, no real haze with deep reddish hues. A thick full tannish offwhite head sits atop, stays big and around for good. Some decent lacing overall works well. Aromas are a melange of earthy and fruity hops, citrusy lemon and gentle grapefruit hit some white grape, copious florals, grass. Crisp bready malts, pale, and a touch of toast. More grapefruit, touches of orange and earth. Lively. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, offering some solid hop bitterness and fruit up front. Orange and grapefruit, florals, dandelions, and grass. Gentle gumball essence sneaks in as it warms. Some crisp bread, toast, and pale malts. More oranges, touches of white grape sneak into the middle, some skant fuzzy peach on the palate and sufficient hop bitterness. Doesn’t show much of the malt profile till after, with a dry crisp finish, biscuits and gentle toast, bread showing a touch of life. Really like the flavor profile this hop is offering, still fruity, a melange of flavors, a good dose of tangerine overall, with sufficient firm bitterness. Fruity qualities don’t take over, holding true overall. Pretty nice.
