22oz bottle pours clear bright amber with 2 finger head. Nose is fruity mandarin orange, light pine, greens, spices. Taste is malty clemetine and mandarin orange, sweet fruity notes, candy apples. Finish is bitter malty fruit, orange peel, light bread and spices.
Pours a clear copper color. No head at all. A bready aroma. A almost candy like sweetness. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Amber color with a tallish light manila colored head. Sweet fruity aromas with some strawberry jam and marmalade. Herbal to floral hops. Sweet start, mild pale malt, some light fruit and bit of honey. Citric to mild cedar pine. Earthy, dry malt finish. The fact that I’m detecting alcohol does not impress me. A malt liquor ale. 4/14

Copper pour with a white head. The aroam is a mix of mango and biscuit malt. The flavor is similar with the biscuit malt being complemented by the pine and orange notes from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - AUG 2, 2015
bomber shared with rusty, lamont , tish ,and hakes at the DUB, dark orange cloudy pour with fruit hopps, mild carael, and happiness, three floyds never lets me down! kathouse (1894) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - APR 28, 2015
Clear caramel color with a light tan foam. Toasted and pine aromas. Has a good full mouthfeel for a pale ale. A nice hop balance and malt base with a slightly sweet finish. Only negative comment is that it finishes better when cold.

Pour on tap, clear golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, yeast into a bit of grass, herbal notes into a bit of orange peel, slight grapefruit into a bit of lemon. Taste was a mix of herbal, grass, lemon, some orange into a bit of biscuit, bread, some yeast into a bit of grain, finishing bitter. railcat1 (702) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Bottle, poured a small head that quickly dissipated, no lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine hops. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops, fruity, and caramel malts.and is moderate in carbonation.CHEERS! FritzHoff (10) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 22, 2015
Very disappointed with this Three Floyds offering (5 months old so that may have something to do with it).
Poured from a bomber:
Nose is malty with a very modest hop character. Nice hazy amber color and very modest head. The malt overpowers the hops and makes for an extremely disappointing pale ale (especially by Three Floyds standards). Unpleasant lingering aftertaste, burnt malt?!? Where are the hops??
I am becoming more and more disappointed with the Three Floyds offerings for many reasons, too full of themselves perhaps?? tykechandler (343) - Kentucky, USA - FEB 2, 2015

Pour from a bomber. Copper colored pour, actually looks fantasticly hazy. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Taste is clean, a bit biscuity, and finshes with a light hop freshness despite being bottled in September.
