Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, fruits, alcohol and hops. Jaysbeers (87) - - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle to glass. A little bit of a funky (good) aroma to go with the hops. A big flavor. A little malt sweetness to start. Finishes with hops and the alcohol does longer on the back of the tongue and throat.

Orange color, small white head. Resiny, sweaty hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, resiny hoppy, some rice is evident. Better than Mikkeller version, not much.
Bottle poured a hazy amber yellow with a fingers worth of soapy head. Flavor of malt, barley and oats mask the 10% abv. Well balanced , bready qith suttle sweetness jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2013

1800th review! 22 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, bottled in 8/2012. Pours moderately hazy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, honey, bread, candy sugar, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with moderate pale malt balance; and good strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, pine, lemon/orange zest, orange rind, floral, grass, honey, candy sugar, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, orange/lemon zest, orange rind, pine, floral, grass, honey, candy sugar, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity of hop flavors with moderate pale malt balance; with great crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly slick, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic blonde barelywine! All around awesome complexity and balance of hop and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2013

Hazy deep gold beer, big off white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Lovely lovely hoppy goodness! A touch of light skunk, sweet pine, orange led tropical fruits. Mango also prominent. Finishes smooth with mild creamy malt, skunk and more tropical fruits. Fabulous!
